She had the balls to resign for investigation to commence. How many of u shameful politicians will resign under such controversies? Does the minister have to know about every little contract and amount in her ministry? Get serious. Even in our own little shops, we loose sight of monies and are robbed by our workers everyday. Telling us Dzifa feigned ignorance of the amount is just unfair. If she later went to check documents and realized someone under her ministry did wrong and then did the right thing by resigning, what's wrong with that. Prosecute her if she's found guilty, but making unfair comments about her is just bad. Will u have reigned if u were her? Shameful leaders of Ghana.

Am selling, I quote, you accept and pay me but you end up thinking you paid me too much based on subcontractors quote, so ? You think you can prosecute this in court or jail me or retrieve the monies ? A deal is a deal and this total nonsense must stop about investigations and prosecutions. I am in business to make money and I guess everybody in business is in business to make money, be it excessive profits or not, it's not stealing, it's just opportunity costs.

In the past 20+ years we have seen NDC and NPP trade places as majority party. In each of those election cycles we have heard from either party while in the minority what has been wrong with government procurement system and processes. Yet we wait to see when either the NPP or NDC propose and pass legislation that will minimize and solve the problem of cronies, party favors and the milking oF government resources. So as Mensah-Bonsu mouth off I will bet each and every NPP stalwart that if and when the NPP gets its hands on power these issues will fall by the wayside as the NPP engage their looting brigade. Rawlings did it, Kufour did it, Atta-Mills looked the other way and it's Mahama time. Would Mensah-Bonsu resign if there are no legislation to tidy up our government bid processes if the NPP came to power? My guess is he would steal to his hearts desire and resigning would be icing on his stealing cake.

Smarrty's is a special purpose vehicle for stealing by the John Mahama gov't involving Selassie Ibrahim, whose husband Ibrahim Adam, a one time Minister of Agriculture in the NDC 1 administration under President Rawlings, ironically, we have been made aware, was similarly caged for looting in the Quality Grain Scandal in which he was charged for causing financial loss to the state.
Thievery it seems, is a very common familial trait in the NDC gov't and party of John Dramani Mahama.
It is all about stealing in the Mahama NDC gov't and Ghana is clearly a goner.
