  This is gross negligence on the of appropriate government agencies responsible to ensuring the safety of the quarry on life and property. The Environmental Protection Agency should be taken to task and any official as well as management of the quarry, who may be found culpable, be dealt with accordingly by law.

  How can people lifes normalise after this trauma. I was there and i tell you the level of impact and the amount of energy this explosion triggered cant be explain. If buildings are collapsing imagine what will happen to mortals. Who provide medical care for the people who felt life is taking away from them in a split of second? Who will pay for all the damages running into millions of cedis? Who seeks justice for the innocent who laboured all their life to build property for future generations. A man who feels the pain of this must help.

  As a witness, and a lucky one at that, I can say that it was scary to say the least. I saw houses on both sides of the road cave in...it was something else which must bring the nation to question the pro activity and intelligence gathering methods of our security agents. We can't continue to be reactionary in this country as one disaster after another sweep people and properties in the abyss! What a country!

  What is the name of "The company" that is responsible for leaving the explosives there? They were negligent and responsible for this tragedy.
  Though they cannot bring back the lives lost, they must pay for the damage done.
