Some one has to pay for the inflated deals with the Arabs so brace yourselves for more rate hikes coming faster than you can drive on the Tema motorway.
The sad part is the parliamentarians don't read the fine print they simply rubber stamp any request from the executive. May be what Ghana needs is a divided government -- a president from one party and majority in parliament from another party. This will make the majority scrutinize requests before approval.

No need for strikes on utility hikes. You should also go on strike and demand salary hikes too. Hikes on poor utility services at Christmas is insane. Stupid and inconsiderate people at the helm of affairs.

WE DO NOT HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE WHEN IT COMES TO THE ISSUE OF UTILITIES. JUST HAND OVER THE OPEARTIONS OF UTILITIES TO PEOPLE PURELY ON COMPETENCE AND KEEP THE POLITICIANS OUT.
