The US Federal reserve raised its benchmark federal funds rate, locked near zero since the financial crisis, by a quarter point to 0.25-0.50 percent, saying the economy is growing solidly and should accelerate next year to a respectable 2.4 percent pace.

In Ghana the interest rate was raised from 11% to 25%.

It's rather the daylight robbery that you, your family and friends are perpertuating on this country that is destroying Ghana. Before your brother became president you couldn't even pay your workers and your debt at Merchant Bank. You destroyed the bank and later went through the back door to buy it. You have a hand and clains to dirty money from all major projects in the country. You and your brother thought thw oil money would be so much to cover up for your robbery. This has not happened because God knows what you guys will do if the oil money were to be substantial. You are involved in all jobs going on at 4 airports, Ada sea defense, the expansion of the two sea ports, Tema motorway expansion, etc. etc. Remember that the cement factory, steel mill at Tema, the hotels in Dubai, all the properties in England, all the lands and building you have aquired in Ghana, etc., you will leave them behind one day. Why is that you alone should be part of all Ghanain projects. You inflate all projects three fold. You will diw and leave all theae properties behind when the time comes. As you and your brothers and cronies continue to loot the nation's coffers remember that Prez Mills died one afternoon at the hands of your brother in his quest for power. What happened on 24th July 2012 will not go unpunished. The day of reckoning will surely come one day.

Ibrahim could not say with a straight face that he has not benefited from Ghana's Politics.

He should tell us what his "Pepeni Number 1" License plate that he reportedly tagged on his vehicle appeared only when his Brother, the President came to Power? I hope he is still not using that Plate.

We have not forgotten his questionable dealings with the Chemical Bank of old, and the attempt to sell the Bank and wipe his loans to the Bank off.

We all wish we could our get our Bank loans so easily wiped off. Even if Ibrahim paid up all the debt he owed the Bank plus applicable interest, the mere attempt to wipe off the debt amounts to semblance of gross impropreity that tainted the President's integrity.

We still haven't heard what happened to the Gold Bullion stashed in his private Jet that was seized in Turkey. For all we know, the Plane was not a Commercial Plane that was supposed to be rented out for such transactions.

It is only in Africa, especially Ghana, where folks grossly overlook misuse of Political clouts that Gold could be so clandestinely shipped out of the country.

Awards of Contracts have been a bane in our developmental progress because it is entangled in Politics, as well. Ibrahim could boast all he wants about his Company's abilities and performance rating. But he cannot rule out that some recognition of his relationship with the President has never played a part in winning any Contract from the Government.

So, even if we admit that Politics is destroying Ghana, Ibrahim is one of the people who seem to be using Politics to destroy Ghana. At least, he could have laid low and humbly go about his business to save his Brother's reputation.
