One can buy a used car for almost peanut but will spend far far more Money for Transportation and clearance at the port.I wonder what they will say to this.
The above Scenario is what the sector Minister was trying to explain to the Nation, yet because of political cheap Point they are giving a wicket Twist to incoherent Norwegian News paper article.
Even experts in the energy sector like ACP chairman,Dr Mohammed Amin admitted that the deal is not the best but there was no corruption. It is therefore not surprising to hear These Attention seekers building a Bridge to no where.

It is funny to go to court not because you have evidence, but because you are looking for evidence, that someone has done wrong. This implies that even as the NPP is raising alarm that something fraudulent has been done, they do not have any evidence. This disgraceful.

Nobody is backing the power Minister but we are against the sheer lack of understanding around the whole issue.
According to the same Norwegian News paper Ghana lost 2 Billion Dollars in 2014 alone.Fine Girl, the first time energy crises hit the Nation was under NPP Regime in 2006 that is about 10 years till date. Then the Nation lost 20 Billion Dollars in the last decade. This figure does not include the human tool as behind any clopse industry is preceded by Job loses. Now assuming Kufour´s govt had spent even one(1) Billion which isabout twice what the current Minister has spent, the Nation would still be better off by about 19 Billion Dollars by now and there wouldn´t be the Need for this power Minister to go in for any contract of such Magnitude. The Point is that, the sector Minister was under extreame presure to Arrest what preceding govt including NPP failed to resolve.
History has a cunning way of repeating itself.Dr Kwame Nkrumah faced similar challenges when he conceived the idea of building akosombo dam and the question is even with akosombo dam we are suffering what would have been our fate had Dr Nkrumah given in to nay sayers?

These people who are suing the power minister are useless bunch. All they need to do is to demand a copy of the agreement from their members of parliament. The member of parliament is their representative and should be able to answer their questions. After all they trusted him to represent them. The minister did not proposed and approved the deal by himself. He would not have gone through with the deal had parliament did not approved it. So guys, please hold your member of parliament for approving a bad deal if you truly believe the deal is a bad one.

Thousands of protesters are marching in South Africa to demand President Jacob Zuma is sacked.
The latest protests are a reaction to him sacking two finance ministers last week, further damaging confidence in the economy.
This comes on top of claims of widespread corruption, recent student protests and a succession battle in the governing African National Congress.
The marchers are using the hasthag #ZumaMustFall on social media.
The #ZumaMustFall hashtag is a modification of #FeesMustFall which was used to organise protests against a rise in university fees.
Before that, #RhodesMustFall was used to demand a statue of British colonialist Cecil Rhodes was removed from the University of Cape Town’s campus.
At the scene: Karen Allen, BBC News, Johannesburg
“It feels like the start of something big,” a woman in her 50s called Lianda told me.
It’s the first protest she has been on since she saw friends and family killed during the 1976 Soweto uprising.
For her it was important to join the demonstrations with her teenage daughters “for the sake of their future”. So along with thousands of others she came to register her displeasure at the ANC leader, who some increasingly see as a political liability.
But unlike the groundswell of protest that led to the recall of President Thabo Mbeke in 2008, Jacob Zuma still appears to have support within the National Executive Committee of the ANC.
Earlier this week, the party’s top brass went on TV to deliver a message to a South African public still reeling from the events of the past week, that they still support their president.
Yet privately there is said to be considerable disquiet within the ANC.
This may not be an Arab Spring but watch this space. The discontent is growing louder.
The ANC has been in power since the end of apartheid in 1994 and won a landslide in general elections last year.
However, the economy is struggling, unemployment is around 25% and many accuse ANC officials of corruption.
Mr Zuma’s decision to appoint the little known Des van Rooyen as finance minister, before replacing him four days later, was widely condemned.
The appointment led the rand to tumble to record lows, although it rose after he was replaced by the respected Pravin Gordhan on Sunday night.
