Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.
“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”,
In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”
“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”
He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”
“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”
“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

The huge and air conditioned churches must not cry. They run their A/C with windows open. The church buildings do not meet A/C building codes in the advanced countries.

In one breadth the CCG is lamenting the poor power delivery in the past few years due to inadequate power, and at the same time wants to perpetuate the conditions that landed us in the power shortage.
The question is: is it better to accept 60% increase and have 100% power delivery, or keep existing tariffs and suffer 50% power delivery with its attendant private "genset" supplement costing 10 times the public generation?

Opuni has began his npp politics. I wish that he Will be honest to tell the whole Ghana that we are paying far less as far as utility tariffs are concerned. Does he pay taxes on numerous properties acquired in the name of church. I wanna let him know that governing a country is not like heading a church where members always give silver collection for the development of God's church. So what you have to do is to pray for God to guide the president.

Why do Ghanaians want everything for free? People should learn to pay for the true cost of what they consume and demand commensurate good service. How does this guy expect the costs to be covered - Childish!

This is the reason why governments need to be open, transparent and frank with the people they govern about the financial and economic situation the country actually finds itself without fear of losing elections . Tell them the truth . The country is bankrupt . It's been bankrupt for a long time . Instead , politicians falsely promise their way into winning elections knowing they are incapable of fulfilling the promise due to the country's financial situation . It is stupid to hike utility tariffs on people who are financially incapable of paying . They all do it . Sad to say .

Because all the above do not pay for their utility tariffs they are inefficient.
Include all VRA staff ECG staff Water Staff GRIDCO staff to for their Utility Usage. Its only when this happens then we would see sensible Utility Prices. Its no brainer

The PURC has become a very bad organization / agency of oppression and suppression in Ghana. The way in which the PURC is operating is not what it was created to do. Now, the PURC is worse than a cruel supervisor of slaves.

Why do you accuse Opuni Frenpong of being playing to the gallery\.He raised a sensible issue for the Government to think twice before it acts.Utility tariff hikes did not correspong with the services provided by the companies involved in Ghana, but the Government kept on supporting them to do the same thing every year only to pay for themslves but if the companies know that they have no ability to raise the standard of their corporations, they should think of giving it up to private participation to handle them for efficient management and high productivity to satisfy the citizenry.
