President of Kwadwo Asamoah’s juvenile club Asokwa Deportivo says the crocked Juventus midfielder needs prayers from Ghanaians to reverse his persistent injuries.

Amidu Camarat suggests Asamoah’s injury woes are spiritual and fears his mercurial talent could come to a premature end.

Asamoah suffered a latest blow at the weekend when he missed Juventus’ 3-1 win over Fiorentina in the Serie A with a fresh muscle problem which has sidelined him for one month.

The Ghana international was ruled out of Ghana’s participation in the 2015 AFCON in Equatorial Guinea due to a knee injury which ruled him out for close to one year.

The midfielder returned his however made a cameo in Juventus’s 2-0 away win over Lazio, lasting for 63 minutes in the game but was ruled out in their clash with Fiorentina last night.

And the president of Asamoah’s youthful club Asokwa Deportivo has called on all Ghanaians to pray for the midfielder.

“It is sad that such a fine talent will be struggling with injuries all the time. Kwadwo is a fine player and everyone knows that. We need him in the Black Stars and his team also needs him,” he exclusively told GHANASoccernet.com.

“I wish to call on all Muslims, Christians and Traditionalists all over the country to stand on their feet and pray for the boy as his persistent injuries beat my imagination.

“I am not only saying this because Kwadwo ever played for Asokwa Deportivo. I am calling on Ghanaians to do that because the boy is a national asset and we must not sit and watch."
