Ivor Greenstreet said directly to President John Mahama and Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur that: “You don’t care”.
“Nobody is feeling your better Ghana”, Greenstreet shouted when he delivered his party’s solidarity message to the NDC at the congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Ashanti regional Captial, Kumasi – stronghold of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In the full glare of the President, Vice President, former President Jerry Rawlings, and thousands of leaders and supporters of the NDC, a defiant Greenstreet said: “…Currently nobody, I mean nobody is feeling your better Ghana.”
“Continuous ‘dumsor dumsor,’ corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out, and all the challenges you are facing [are] suffocating the Ghanaian people.”
He added: “We would have thought that perhaps you may have used an occasion like this to discuss policies, programmes and solutions to all the difficulties we are facing as a nation, but no, you chose today to share your Christmas gifts with each other.”
“Ghanaians are not happy at all. This ‘bronya’ is dry. Too too dry,” he told the President, adding: “The most painful thing of all is that you don’t care.”
“NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you, do what you want to do, we also know what we’ll come and do…make sure you’ll elect executives who will be able to steer your parties affairs when you are in opposition. Boys abr3.”

Unfortunately, the incompetent undemocratic NDC party was given another mandate in 2009 with new oil revenue to try again, but the result so far has been HIPIC, Domsor, low production, unprecedented corruption, currency depreciation, over-taxation, unprecedented hardship and hunger with another "Rawlings' chain".
NDC should therefore be shown the door come 2016 with a promise not to ever come back again.

Now that the dumsor barge fiasco has backfired and exploded in your face you present another half baked solution? Dumsor barge was meant to enable Ibrahim Mahama to own the majority of the independent power producing capabilities , increase unnecessarily the rates on electricity so our home start getting bills 3 to 5 times what they are now. We may be already refugees and second class citizens in our own country but that does not make deaf and blind to the truth. We know the root cause of dumsor is your Anti Akan hate agenda and because Akosombo is on Akan territory you have allowed mismanagement and neglect to practically put out of function one turbine after another. You spread propaganda and lies about some water level mixed with bullshit about the whole thing being old or obsolete forgetting that most hydro generators in the world are older than ours but still functioning. No talk of the possibility that its still possible to send these defunct turbines to Europe , North America , Japan or even Russia (NEVER TURKEY)and have them re-calibrated . Due to lack of timely maintenance from neglect and corruption blessed by the hate of the Akans politics mixed with muslim caliphate destruction ,the turbines have all slowly spun out of axis and need to be dismantled to calibrate them , with the availability of new technology its even possible to increase the original 1000 megawatts to 1500 or even double if reverse turbines and other changes are made.

When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.
This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year.
This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger , called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “stupid buffoon”.
It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room'
This is how our presidency has been reduced to. So couldn't Pres Mahama have denied the accusations by Obasanjo with hard facts without resorting to insults? What did he say about Mugabe's recent comments about his behaviour as an African leader? His conduct falls below statesmanship manners, regardless of the provocation in a public forum.

Ooh, my brother. Is it only this NDC government? Why can't you face the truth? Governments over the past 30 years except the Acheapong regime have failed the country. Every where you go in this country, there is wanton wastes of resources: in education, health, agric, our ports, the ministries and public sectors are all rotten to the core: unemployment everywhere. So what exactly is happening in this country.? Why should there be this huge unemployment in this country when arable lands are there waiting for our agric students, commercial students, technical students, etc to be posted to these areas and tasked to use their talents they have acquired from their schools? Our leaders just to create the enabling environment ( tractors, coordination and proper planning within the various sectors) for the start-up of this to work. Create farming zones in all the regions: equip them with the various working tools: send all the unemployed graduates in agric to these zones: support these zones with the unemployed technical and mechanical graduates to service the tractors when they break down: send all the commercial and accounting unemployed graduates to support the zones and service the zones with proper commercial and marketing and sales, advertising methods to sell the proceeds: send all the accountants etc unemployed graduates to record and keep proper accounting records of these procceds. Lets these activities support the viability and profitability of these zones. The government' should initially support these zones by letting the financial institutions support these activities. Salaries for the staff of these zones should be catered for initially by these insitutions. But subsequent ones from the proceeds of these zones. Is this tooo difficult for our leaders to do? Why. This is the way we as a country need to support our farmers by creating a generation of student farmers to assist them now and assure them that their chosen profession is nobel. For now, we as a nation have woefully failed them.

The biggest problem Ghana is facing its disregard to agriculture. Today how many of our young men and women have interest to chose to go and study agric-science?
We belittle this important field for too long yet it is the main field of economic prosperity in any given country. we do not eat or drink oil but food that we out to be growing in a scientific way to feed the population from generations to come.
Take not: Any time you travel in Ghana all that you see are houses being build. It is hard to see a stretch of land being cultivated for agricultural purposes.
Your leaders are so stupid and backward that they do not see the need to encourage more people to study agriculture.
Many would prefer to study law and political science because they see how rich the parliamentarians are.
Shame, shame, shame, etc!

The man who bought and paid for PPP and all its membership and holdings, Paa Kwesi Nduom can play dumb all day long if he wishes to do so but he cannot fool us all. He, Mr. Nduom, knows that even in the USA subsequent governments review as a matter of oversight, budgets of government institutions from previous years and or administrations to help make necessary decisions. Can the PPP and or the NPP tell the public what budget level did the NPP leave for Ministry of Agriculture and what sustainable and productive investment policies were in place for Ghana's farmers when the Atta-Mills/Mahama administration took office? Whilst at it PPP should also list what productive existing agricultural project got eliminated or curtailed under the current administration?
I know it's political season but we must not loose common descency of telling the public the truth to help people make up their minds. If and when our governments decide to make farming a priority and attractive as a profession even our so-called university graduates may choose to go that route. We currently choose unproductive office work over field work; not even our mostly dumb women take a second look at farmers who feed us all. When was the last time some female fancy pants proclaimed love for some farmer, traditional or mechanized? So not only do farmers make sacrifices for us all but have to put up with the low prices they get for their fruits of labor.
