All of these mushroom roadside Universities in Ghana will collapse once Nigeria gets their educational institutions properly restructured again. In an case 99% of those Nigerian students afterall are unqualified to make the mark of both public and private Nigerian universities anyway, hense their resort to unaccredited Ghanaian roadside universities which their parents don't have any knowledge of. Those mushroom universities will soon collape once Nigerian students stop patronising them.

It would make sense for the NAB to change this "accreditation" designation to something else to make is consistent with the practice in the rest of the world. In the academic world, accreditation means an already established university has - consistently - maintained a set of standards set by the Accreditation Board. Accreditation does not mean a set of requirements are met to start a university (a business). Anyone can set up a university as a business or otherwise. They are only "accredited" after meeting the standards set by the accreditation Board. So, we can have and "accredited" and "unaccredited" tertiary institution in the country. Just a topic for discussion and consideration.

NAB is corrupt. The staff have been collecting bribes from private university colleges to grant them accreditation when they should be closed down.

NAB should speed up processing applications and approvals to genuinely qualified institutions. NAB should stop playing politics of corruption and consider deeply the heavy investments put up by the founders of these applicant institutions. Perhaps we need a rival accreditation authority.

Education in Ghana Fails because the so call NAB is Incompetent. Just paper work and no critical thinking for the future. Only running NAB as businesss centre. Charging moneys and raising funds we don't see. Is their funds raised paid into the consolidate account or where?
Just keep talking since that is the show of the day. We eat it, we are satisfied with it. Ghana Economy is a Treadmill Economy.
