It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

"‘How do we fight it?’ It starts from infancy; it starts in school, with parents teaching their children the right thing. They don’t do that,” he said."
NO, he is wrong!
Corruption can ONLY be fought when people get jailed for wrong doing. When the law is disregarded and people are instead rewarded for doing bad, it encourages others to worse, knowing they have nothing to fear. This goes in a spiral, forever.
Judiciary and the government has always been the the culprits in stoking wrong doing however, it is Kufuor who worsened everything by packing into the courts fools who called themselves judges, to subvert, remake, undermine genuine cases: in short, Kufuor adulterated the legitimacy of the law courts in order to abuse power and allowed his ministers to be excessively corrupt.
I had begun documenting cases, of fraud, misdemeanours, corruption etc. in Kufuor's government and at some instance, I just have to stop counting. It became a hysterical situation. Even though some of his party members were clearly found to be uncomfortable with it, others idiot like Kwaku Baaku and Darko just continued to defend the indefensible.
Kufuor just threw, decency, morality, principles and presidential respect away immediately he became president. The guy knows no shame.

When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Corruption became deep-rooted when we embraced the governance system based on "each one for himself,God for us all". The system encourages self-aggrandizement and wealth accumulation for the nucleus family. This alien system has gradually eaten into our social structure since 1966 and now the whole social structure has decayed. Ghanaians especially the youth are inward looking and selfish. Ghanaians cut a pathetic picture in the eyes of those who knew Ghana before 1966. Patriotism has died with Nkrumah. Politicians give rosy promises to garner votes but when they get power they join the bandwagon of looters. So, it's now, LOOT! LOOT!! LOOT!!! in Ghana.

Collective guilt will not fly over this matter of epidemic corruption. Looking at the genesis and the mechanisms or root cause of this phenomenon we know exactly who the culprits are. This system was first developed in our country by elements close to Kwame Nkrumah and his political desire to build a cult personality just as we see today with Bawumia and before him JJ. Kojo Tsikata and his warped minded cronies and criminals from national security are the ones responsible as they designed and implemented the system. This is a system of Negative selection which doesnt allow our best to be called to serve rather prefers treacherous traitors , individuals of no morals or integrity all having perverse deviant character traits. In a corrupt society the undeserving , unqualified , incompetent with no empathy prosper while the opposite are marginalized , lynched or even killed as we have witnessed with Atta Mills, Acheampong , Ankrah and others. We mentioned the other day 2 sons of the Akans ( Kofi Anann and Sam Jonah) who invited to serve would turn the country around in less than a year but are no where on the political horizon talk less of being enabled to contribute anything positive to the nation. The truth be told we have over half a million (500,000) very highly qualified patriotic citizens from ALL tribes who can perform and are competent but they dare not raise their heads due to the vicious nature of The NDC , National security and other security agencies that have a strangle hold on the political climate. I advise all to verify these things i say and investigate the truth for themselves. Do we not have the likes of Daniel Tetteh ( a Ga in Databank), the sons of Dr agama (Ewes ) and countless Northerners with global achievement such as Baba Abu the banker? How come none of these well accomplished professionals have been thrown away to the roadside after all the investment our people have put in them? NDC is gone but the battle to bring things in order doesnt end there rather we need to remain vigilant and work to transform the politics by eliminating these useless remnants that have infiltrated every party. Mahama's treachery goes beyond incompetence as its only a symptom , the root cause is plain simple evil wickedness mixed with the retrogressive forces of his Islamic background. Corruption another symptom is part of the strategy to weaken the institutions of state , erase integrity and morals so we forever remain in this quicksand of poverty and backwardness . Incompetence implies amateurism , political illiteracy , ignorance etc but we say this is very deliberate as its supported by national security and other security agencies , practically all institutions of state are in compliance with the destruction or wanton looting of Akan wealth and future because they know its not theirs. To illustrate this point we will elaborate , imagine there is an ailing child that needs a heart operation or even simple appendix removal but pepeni president comes along and says i have the constitutional right to appoint the medical officer , so instead of appointing an experienced capable doctor he says my brother muslim pepeni is a butcher and knows how to cut flesh so he is appointed instead . Then the rest of us idiots are surprised and amazed when every time there is a patient things go wrong and there is death and misery all over the place. Then pepeni omanhene gets up and says npp vowed to make the country ungovernable so is to blame and sets all institutions of state to work at the destruction of the innocent npp. Now we return and all i say is just look at this govt and what do you really see , people deliberately in place who can never deliver , perform or do anything right in a thousand years, all of them sophisticated criminals posers and professional liars. The opposition we see is in a very sorry state as they have been infiltrated by these agent provocateurs , spies and sleepers . They cant even organise a simple house to house or door to door campaign due to internal sabotage and obstruction. We advise all decent citizens and Akans to continue the campaign individually to remove this evil NDC and make sure they dont even get 5% of the vote , then we shall see how the BNI will rig the elections for them. In our opinion any party not affiliated to the NDC is a good start and we shall make sure we dismiss 90% of the police force , BNI , national security and ministries civil service and replace them with more loyal ,patriotic and deserving citizens. A bad tree will always produce bad fruit such as we see with JJ and his offspring ashawo daughter who is only good for licking men's balls. Our advice especially to our diaspora is to avoid any family which supports NDC as they are nothing but gold diggers , fake users with no love in their hearts except interests. These ndc women all have one thing in common, irrational greed, no morals , no wisdom and no justice in their hearts just fine tuned in the art of lies and deceit.

Joe Ghartey as NPP Attorney General had cases of missing pages from dockets and documents becasuse they were incriminating to NPP members. He denied that the case ever came to his office. An AG should be an AG for Ghanaians not for a political party. So once the individual will not live by the morals of a society and will not be punished for that ALL constitutions and laws and bye-laws will not help us

It's such a shame to be a Ghanaian all because of greedy politicians. Was on a flight last Sunday from Ghana to the UK and surprise to find minister Ablakwah in the first class section travelling. Was he travelling on government mission or a private trip. In the same first class were also very senior statesmen whom l will not want to name for the reason that they not in government. We live in a country where companies have lost business , people lost jobs and still got government minister travelling at tax payers expense on first class. Can our president learn one or two from the current president of Tanzania who is boldly walking his talk. The measures he has introduced in 3 weeks non of our president current or past ever introduced in their time in office. It's about time we wake up as citizens to stop silly holidays , celebrations of independence when our schools and hospitals are in urgent need of resources. Stop all waste now or we all will regret the military come back to power to put sanity in the system. It's not what we want but seems our politicians of today careless about the citizen. Just imagine how much money was wasted on Ghana at 50years independence only for the very rich in government and society to benefit from the huge reductions in the sale of luxury cars etc plus silly over inflated cost of hosting the event at a time when hospitals had no beds. Ambulance and schools under tress and classrooms without windows etc. it's about time we all make politics not a money grabbing spree.

The underlying aristocratic privileges that we Africans associate with leadership, even in our secular lives and Politics, is largely to blame for such clashes.
We see that in our Ghanaian Politics, in particular, and our Traditional leadership as well. We are yet to appreciate the need for leaders to be seen as servers instead of Lords who must be worshiped. So, we have allowed them to impose upon us in all manners possible.
Any leader we intend to choose, even democratically, is supposed to be entitled to an undeserving host of privileges which often make the chosen far wealthier than all others in the Society, and they used to be.
This is why, for example, many of us Ghanaians were very concerned about the huge Ex-gratia Packages that the Kufuor Administration pushed through Parliament for approval for Presidents and others in Government.
What former Presidents are supposed to receive in benefits after retirement is worth more than what they would receive in active service at their Post, something that defies the general wisdom behind retirement benefits globally. What makes it even more ridiculous is that our former Presidents would be receiving more than what the US Presidents do in similar situations. And yet, Ghana is light-years further away from the the Economic might and resources of the USA.
If we would be honest about this topic, it should not surprise anyone, therefore, why some folks would attempt for numerous times to ascend a political position, when even heavily rejected by the Electorate; some would even want to become the President, and choose to be guided by the 'All die be die.." mantra.
In our Presidency is a sitting pot of Gold that Presidents freely, easily and unregrettably scoop personal wealth from with impunity.
Hardly any of our Political leaders, Traditional or secular, ever desires to serve selflessly. The deafening claims on patriotism these leaders make are nothing but a fraudulent hoax.
They have felt us. They have sized us up. They have psyched us all up to be convinced that we will always sheepishly accept their hidden real reasons for seeking our Presidency, our Stool vacancies, our DCE, MCE, etc. positions, i.e., to loot the pot of gold for their immense personal wealth.
Attempts to decouple wealth accumulation from our leadership positions in Ghana has never been seriously taken up by us. And I think we would be still wallowing in our hallucinatory wilderness to stop corruption in Ghana, if we do not do anything to rectify that expectation.
The fact that lower ranked Officials in Government get to know of the ill-gotten wealth their superiors obtain serves as some justification for these subordinates to solicit for bribes from others seeking their services. The quest for overnight opulence has gripped us all, and blinded us to any moral hazards, and benumbed us to our moral conscience.
The plaque encrusting our sense of morality must be lifted, or even scraped off. My preference would be self-activating our in-built moral defenses to dissolve, or break out of, such crucible of criminal indulgence. But since that is harder for many of us to accomplish than imagined, we need outside help from among the moral Authorities like the Clergy and Imams, and the International Agencies of Human Rights to intervene simultaneously.
Having seen our own Judiciary to be so badly infected with Corruption, our trust in that local Institution does not seem to be all that formidable to help us restore our morality and orderliness. This is why I would like to reiterate my call for the International Court of Justice at the Hague to be brought in to help instill the aspect of legal deterrence in our potential and incumbent leaders. The level of Corruption we have steeped into rationally calls for drastic intervention by the United Nations Human Rights outfit. Various International Agencies, Public and Private, that have anything to do with restoring lives and dignity of Humanity, ought to step up to help us now.
Long Live Ghana!!!

I quote Dr.Amoako Baah:"Come to the larger society. Teachers are cheating for students, students are buying papers. Who is left? According to the good doc, "the current rotten nature of Ghana has an umbilical cord in the past". Dr Amoako Baah, you have been in the country since the Rawlings' era. Did YOU cheat for your students when you were the head of department of Political Science at the KNUST? Or you bought papers for them? This is from your own mouth. Not mine. How about cropping your moustache a little?

Corruption is all over the world, it is part of the Human Nature.
Total eradication is impossible, it has been there since Adam and Eve.
