  It is a good thing that the Northern NPP stalwarts have reminded the whole country that the NPP has strong Northern roots and origins.
  
  The uncouth behaviour of some people in the NDC has largely prejudiced the rest of the country against the North. But equating inefficiency and corruption -- the hallmarks of NDC rule -- with Northerners is unfair. Indeed, we have always risen up against corruption and dictatorship -- as we showed the CPP in its heyday by forming NPP and later UP.
  
  The NDC has become filthy rich by stealing Ghana's money and is in the process of acquiring more money, due to greed. We know that life in the country is hard today because only a few people are chopping. Because of the hardship, it is easy for the NDC to buy people and also use tribalism to wreak havoc on the Ghanaian economy and even the political system itself.
  
  The NDC is breaking into NPP offices. And it is causing factionalism within the NPP.
  
  But our eyes are open. Mahama cannot use Northernenism to fool us. All who loathe inefficiency and corruption must close ranks with the NPP.
  
  Enough is enough. Mahama has chopped enough. Where is his honesty as a Northerner? We used to be regarded as dependable and honest. Mahama has destroyed our reputation and we must not let him forget it.
