After saying so, he dipped his finger into the jar and put it into his mouth. His class watched in amazement, most in disgust. But being the good students that they were, the jar was passed, and one by one, they dipped their finger into the jar and put it into their mouths.

After the last student was done, the lecturer shook his head. "If any of you had been observant, you would have noticed that I put my second finger into the jar and my third finger into my mouth."

God has endowed us all with commonsense. But some people appear to have mortgaged their commonsense to other people. Some people have transferred these God-given power to others to think for them. Pastors, mallams and fraudsters come readily to mind.

Same observation when I drive by kids on their way to and from school. You can never fix Ghanas problems unless we start a new nation called Noah's Ghana. Select an equal number of the best , brightest and physically attractive from each region, start my Nation, leave the freaking peasants with cash to perish.

Seriously, look at Accra today. There is more honor, dignity and civility in the jungle than the streets of Accra. Our leaders are products of this very traumatic Twi culture, now they have suddenly figured out the panacea?
