THE WRITING IS NOW ON THE WALLS. ECONOMIC & SOCIAL UNREST THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. PEOPLE WILL NOW TAKE MY WORD SERIOUS.-------"IT IS ONLY A FOOL, WHO ALLOWS HIS TESTICLES TO BE STEPPED ON TWICE"-------GO OUT THERE AND RECEIVE YOUR REWARD, ALL GHANAIANS. GO AND PAY THE PRICE FOR YOUR FOOLISHNESS. YOU DON'T GIVE A SECOND MANDATE TO AN INCOMPETENT AND CORRUPT GOVERNMENT, NO!! NOT AT ALL, THAT IS ABOMINATION IN DEMOCRACY, VERY SUICIDAL. HAD NDC MANAGED THE ECONOMY WELL, THESE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THE SITUATION. NDC HAS PRESIDED OVER THE BIGGEST RESOURCES GHANA HAS EVER HAD. THEY HAVE ALSO CONTRACTED MORE LOANS THAN ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT IN OUR HISTORY, BUT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THIS. GHANAIANS SHOULD HAVE ENJOYED SOME ECONOMIC PROGRESS AT THIS TIME IN OUR HISTORY. THE ECONOMY IS COLLAPSING BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS SO CORRUPT. TO RESCUE THE SITUATION, THE POOR IS NOW BEING FORCED TO PAY. THIS IS INJUSTICE. THIS IS NOT THE GHANA KUFFOUR HANDED OVER TO NDC, HE EVEN ADDED FRESH CRUDE OIL WELLS. NPP TRANFORMED GHANA TO A MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMY WITH LIMITED RESOURCES BUT GOOD POLICIES. NDC IS WOEFULLY REVERSING THESE NPP ACHIEVEMENTS. GHANA'S CURRENT SITUATION IS VERY DISTURBING. WHEN THE HISTORY IS TOLD, IT WILL BE SAID THAT GHANAIANS WERE OFFERED FREE SECONDARY EDUCATION, IMPROVED UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL HOUSING FOR THE POOR AND AN EGALITARIAN SOCIETY BUT 50% SAID NO THANK YOU. THEY PREFERRED ECONOMIC "WOYOMISATION" , PHANTOM DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, PHILANDERERS FOR LEADERS, MACHIAVELLIAN DISRESPECTFUL CORRUPT LOUTS AND A VISIONLESS EVIL GOVERNMENT. Ghana is paying six times its total oil revenue as interest on the country’s total public debt stock; that’s the computation done by former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
“We’ll reach GHC99billion by the end of this year,” the Running Mate to the Flagbearer of the biggest opposition Party said in a post-budget presentation interview with Richard Sky of Citi FM.
“The interest on this debt alone is going to be six times Ghana’s oil revenue,” Dr Bawumia said.
“When we found oil, we were happy that we found oil, but the borrowing of this Government has compromised the whole oil discovery; you need six times our oil revenue just to pay interest on the debt, not even capital, so, it is a really sad development,” he complained.

It is disappointing for Martin Amidu to heap praises on the sole Judgement Debt Commissioner as excellent Judge. The man is a disgrace to the judiciary who is got to the Supreme Court by playing to the tunes of his political masters. He was elevated to Appeal Court by the Kufuor administration after he made nonsense of the Ya-Naa murder trial because in his deluded judgement the Ya-Naa died in a war, when there was no war. As the then High Court Judge he should have known that war is a legal term which does not fit a family feud that got out of control, which was a criminal act by both parties.
Then after doing the bidding of President Mahama, he has been elevated to the Supreme Court. How could Martin Amidu praise Justice Apau (now Justice of the Supreme Court), when he blamed Nana Akufo-Addo for the Drill Ship Saga without listening to his side? How could he recommend that Nana Akufo-Addo should be surcharged for the causing loss to the state without the opportunity to defend himself but listened to others? How could not make similar recommendations on Betty Mould Idrissu, Batron Oduro and Samuel Nerquaye-Tetteh? That was a political decision and not judicial one. A deliberate scheme hatched by the government so that the same government rejects the recommendation on Nana Akufo-Addo to make the government look good and avoid the accusation of witch hunting Nana Akufo-Addo. Justice can be JSC only in Ghana.
I also expect Martin Amidu as a seasoned Attorney to know that the International Court of Arbitration is not bounded by decisions of the Supreme Court of Ghana, though it will take notice of such decisions. In any case, the Supreme Court is wrong to always rule that international contracts not approved by parliament due to the failure of the government to take them to parliament for approval are unconstitutional and null and void so the foreign companies involved cannot claim compensation from Ghana.
What the Supreme Court has failed to recognise is that such judiciary decisions are contrary to international law principles of “Ex turpi causa non oritur actio" (from a dishonourable cause an action does not arise) or "Commodum ex injuria sua non habere debeta” (wrongdoer should not be enabled by law to take any advantage from his actions). This is because if the government of Ghana is allowed to sign international contracts and for whatever reason/s do not take the contracts to its own parliament for approval, then why should foreign companies who acted in good faith suffer for the failure of government of Ghana? That would mean rewarding the government for its own wrongdoing contrary to the above international legal principles.
If such practices are encouraged by the judiciary in Ghana, then government of Ghana can deliberately avoid seeking approval from its own parliament and when there are problems claim that the contracts were not approved by parliament so unconstitutional and null and void therefore foreign companies are not entitled to compensation and benefit from its wrong doing or failure. That is why the International Court Arbitration apply the above international legal principles and often order Ghana to pay compensation despite the ruling by Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court must henceforth consider the two legal principles after they have ruled international contracts not approved by parliament as unconstitutional and null and void because the government failed to seek approval in order to award compensation against the government. Otherwise their decisions would be made irrelevant by the International Court of Arbitration

Well,I took interest in your last paragraph in the comments you wrote,
I made similar comments here few times asking how can the contractor be guilty of parliament not approving a contract when it is not the responsibility of the contractor to seek parliamentary approval before loans are signed when the government or the government officials who are obligated to seek parliamentary approval are let go free.
The whole thing is like our Supreme Court is not thinking right before ruling and has become partner in crime with the government officials.

It may not amount to much but history is a good thing unless of course you tend to be a fool Martin. Here is the issue: Under the drill ship saga, Kufour era AG and shady intellectuals including the AG, Nana Akufo-Addo, sent one of the imminent legal minds in Ghana to prison for the trumped up charge of causing financial harm to the nation. Why should it not matter then if the proceeds from the sale of the drill ship are mismanaged by members of the very Kufour government that sent him to prison for mismanagement?
We can take issues with a Woyome gate which I still maintain starts with Kufour administration illegal activities. Democracies exist and prosper because people live by and under the laws of state not because of abuse of the laws of state by government and or the powerful. We got to the Woyome saga because it was easier for the office of president Kufour to skirt open bid procurement laws and or best practices. We could not have judges rule in favor of Woyome in the lower courts if there was no merits of his claim to breach of the open bid processes.
Martin can get off the stage now; he is past his prime and at the gutter level now with his adoring fan willing to feed at the bottom.

Martin Amidu's goof and its cost to the nation.
We wrote from the beginning of Martin Amidu's trabal attach on Alfred Agbeshi Woyome that if care is not taken by our judges, in their bid to satisfy Martin Amidu and the mob that is following him this country will end up paying more to Woyome than the 50 Million Dollars.
We stated that from our experience from the District, Regional and National Tender Boards a company that won the bid has won the contract. we state also many times that if a person is not happy and is desirous to terminate the contract, he has to pass through the terms laid down by the tender for terminating the contract.
We also stated that a person who tendered for a contract does not have the power to send the same to parliament to be ratified, thus he does not commit any offense for the contract not ratified by parliament.
Added is that a party that think that it has been unfairly treated by the Supreme Court of Ghana has the right to appeal to the International Court of Arbitration to have his or her grievances, assumed or real addressed.

I believe revenge is Amidu's core motivation for both his attacks on Anas and the Government, even though he is absolutely correct on the impropriety of the Government's to suppress the indictment of Betty Iddrisu, Kumbuor and Barton Oduro in particular, who are all NDC members.
I never heard anything about Amidu questioning the packing of the Supreme Court to ensure Tsatsu Tsikata's conviction, after and earlier trial had vindicated him.
More, Amidu cannot claim that Akufo-Addo is not culpable in all the issues the Sole Commissioner raised about him on the monies he approved. It does not matter who the money Akufo-Addo approved of was paid to. But even it did, it was paid to Ala Adjetey who was a staunch NPP member. The fact that Ala's son Larry is a NDC member is beside the point. In fact, the relationship that could raise any suspicion in such payments is more of the one between the NPP leader and Ala Ajetey, and not that between the recipient's son and the NDC. After all, the father and son could have had a difficult relationship that may well reflect their choices of Political Parties to join.
In order words, if Nana Akufo-Addo were to take any relationships into consideration in deciding whether or not he had to approve of that payment, it would be more the relationship Ala had with Nana as fellow NPP leaders than with that of Ala's son to his father or the NDC.
The subtle suggestion by Amidu that somehow Akufo-Addo was being fair-minded or magnanimous towards Larry Adjetey per se, even though Larry happens to be a NDC member is ludicrous because that amount was not meant for Larry but his father Ala.
Meanwhile, there is a certain sense of clarity that Amidu brings to bear on his attacks on the Mahama's Administration. And that is he really wishes and hopes, like many Ghanaians do, for Mahama and the NDC to lose the next Elections. We all must be clear on that.
So, Amidu cannot say there is no element of vengeance in his persistent heightened attacks on the Administration. What we must all watch for comparison to establish this fact above is the case of the internal conflict in the NPP.
As much as the feud in NPP has generated enormous hatred and anguish between opposing factions, one thing that is clear is how both contentious sides still commits to the success of the NPP at the next Elections. Both Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong who are the most besieged duo at the center of the NPP conflict have solidly maintained their commitment to help the NPP win the next Elections.
In the case of Amidu versus the NDC, he has amply indicated that he would rather wish his own Party flop in the next Elections. That indicates the extent of his vindictiveness.
I believe Amidu is capable of wiping clear the NDC's chances of winning the next Elections more than any entity in NPP, or even the whole NPP Party could. NPP, and Akufo-Addo in particular, must be very thankful to Amidu in that sense.
In Ghana, most of us vote for the Party we support and that means even if we deeply dislike any particular individual in that Party for any reason at all, we would most likely vote for the Party and him as well. If that was not the case, then I would think the conflict in NPP could cause some of its members to vote for the Parliamentary candidates of the Party to send the Party to majority rule but specifically against Akufo-Addo to deny him the Presidency.
So, thus far, the NPP's chances have begun to look up again with Amidu's persistent attacks on Mahama and NDC.
In the end all Ghanaians deserve is a better deal with all our stolen assets returned. That immediate need, and not the fear of Akufo-Addo's bigoted and dangerous Presidency, is what may turn the cards for NPP.
Long Live Ghana!!!

The Citizen Vigilante Martin Alamisi Benz Kaiser Amidu is indeed one of Ghana's few PATRIOTS left on the soil of Oman Ghana.
Not only has he distinguished himself as an upholder of the principle of speaking truth to power, but he has acted in accordance with wresting truth from the powers that be, and dragging them kicking and wrestling on their knees, to the table of accountability.
This is no mean achievement in a country where sycophantic bootlicking bothering on crudity and crassness, has become an entrenched characteristic of the political class, leading to the collapse of this country.
John Dramani Mahama and his NDC gov't has been once again exposed as they will continue to be exposed, till they leave office in 2016.
Folks, the future of Ghana is at stake under the John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't of family and friends looting brigade with incompetence to boot, and Ghana should not let the upholders of the truth and generations yet unborn, suffer under this esprit de corps of looting, thievery, mismanagement and wanton corruption bury this country permanently in the abyss of retrogression and downright primitivism.
Ghana must live again and the failed propagandist and looting gov't of John Dramani Mahama must go in 2016. Enough is enough. Ghana deserves better.
