The Govt, for some strange reasons rushed the process without ensuring that strong economic fundamentals were in place; eg.low inflation, more favourable balance of payments position, etc The cedi will struggle in the foreseeable future notwithstanding the monetary policies pursued by the BoG to stem its slide.
