What people forget to realise is that the Ashantis generally are not morally sound people if one may be real with them just like Solomon Nkansah stated, and this is what had taken over the NPP in the area of morality cum behaviour that we see among the party folks today.

Thank you Mr president for reminding the people within the NPP of their political responsibilty and the Ghanaian population at large to understand that respect towards one another should be a must within our nation if we cheerish real develoment in all areas of our expected development.

It is natural that uneasy lie the head that wears the crown. My advice to the president is to concentrate on how he will be able to alleviate the suffering masses from dumsor, poverty, unemployment and other related issues that confront the people.

But to have members of the same Party, NPP, insult President Kufuor as much as we have witnessed for a while is insane. I had to take on Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr., for example, on such a tirade of insults against President Kufuor a couple of years ago. It has been more or less the same kind of insults that have been perpetuated till now on the former President. And I am afraid, as the next Elections loom closer, the insults would be more sharpened.

Rather sadly, that would once again, set up the NPP for yet another shocking defeat in 2016. The death of Adams which Kennedy Agyapong, for example, unwisely partly blames the former President for is such a horrible offense to the former President and his followers.

Akufo-Addo silently and passively supervises the Party rogues like Okoampa-Ahoofe, Jr., in his Camp to continue on that destructive path. But it is he, the Flagbearer, who would finally bear the brunt of the fall-out from such a horrible assault on President Kufuor.

I see Mahama playing this out as a gift to further enrage the Kufuor followers against Akufo-Addo. But whose fault is it to have the insults persist? Akufo-Addo's. Period!!

This, he said was because “the NPP will not risk putting the destiny of Ghana in the hands of an incompetent person who has shown to be soft on corruption, who is friendly to corruption and was even under investigation by his boss for corruption, according to the then Attorney-General, Martin Amidu.”

The NPP, Blay added, will not impoverish the people of this country by choosing and imposing on Ghana, through deceit, a leader whose political philosophy can be defined as “an incompetent government by corrupt people, with corrupt people, and for corrupt people.”

“Did you hear Bawumia say incompetent Mahama? You’ve never held any responsibility anywhere near the presidency before; you don’t know what it is like to be president.

“I’ll take that word from Kufuor or from Rawlings because they’ve been there before. All of you guys [NPP critics] have never ever come near the presidency. Do you know what it takes to be a president? And you stand and say incompetent Mahama administration,” Mahama fumed.

He also said, “I will not allow useless insults to distract me.”

“This means that if you are a medical doctor and you do not administer well, Ghanaians cannot criticise you because not all Ghanaians are medical doctors; if you are a civil engineer and you do not do the roads well and people die, you can’t criticise the engineer because not all Ghanaians are road engineers.”

Mr Boadu said if Dr Bawumia, who predicted the woes of Ghana’s economy due to the incompetence of the Mahama administration, did not have the capacity to criticise the president, then ordinary Ghanaians, including kenkey sellers, government workers, trotro drivers and mates “are useless to him (President Mahama).”
