What's the personal interest of Emile Short in the affairs of Chraj that he couldn't take off his hands off the Commission?
There is no reason why he should be allowed to externally manipulate happenings at the Commission after leaving the his accommodation in ruins with careless abandon to necessitate the problems that he championed for the removal of his predecessor. He is being allowed to meddle unnecessarily in the affairs of the Commission. To have the audacity to suggest that the Acting Commissioner is incapable of taking up the mantle is very disingenious.

Ghanaians are visibly yearning for a change to liberate themselves from the corrupt nation wreckers' party which has brought untold hardship on them.
NPP party, on the other hand, has what it takes to save the nation from the sinking ship, and fully prepared to take over from the NDC con men democratically through free and fair elections.
Their water-gating tactics will not save them because Ghanaians have seen the light, and their attempt to divert their attention from the real issues confronting the nation will backfire on them

It is surprising that Emile Short can't find any single person capable on an institution he headed for years. This shows the type of leadership he executive whiles there. It means h didn't inculcate any discipline or or good leadership traits into anyone. I expected him to say I left some good ones there. He should keep mute.

Probably we should allow him to appoint one. He is among those who frustrated the appointment of Anna as his replacement

Is this man the only past commisioner, chief executive, etc? Why can't he stop meddling in the affairs of Chraj in such an open manner? There are several former IGPs, CEOs, Army Commanders, heads of institutions, etc, but I don't hear them always coming into the news telling the authorities what they should do. They may be doing things and offering advice behind the scenes and that I think is how it should be done. Yet this man is always in the news. If he wants the position, he should apply for it. Else he should enjoy his retirement quietly. Maybe he can write a book, if he wants to pass on his knowledge to posterity.

While holding down the post of Commissioner, Short spent years abroad as a highly-paid consultant, kept the official residence for the Commissioner empty and kept the efficient, honest and outstanding Anna Bossman acting until she wads matched by an international agency, the African Development Bank! A few ?s for Shirt: how much did your empty, unoccupied official residence cost the state? Why did you not resign when u we're working abroad as consultant? Why did you resist the appointment of your deputy? Sure, you now want an outsider, someone you know? Shame on you!

There was an insider lady after Emile Short who was not doing badly but I guess she was not politically correct so frustrated by the government.

Mr Emile Short would have woefully failed the litmus for corrupt if the media and civil society institutions have been so critical of his tenure as they have been of constitutional bodies now. Mr Short left an apartment, rented for him by the CHRAJ, to his wife when the two separated, and got CHRAJ to rent and furnish another apartment for him in 1995. How were goods and services procured under his watch at CHRAJ? If he does not shut up some of us will expose him.
