Avoka is a big liability to NDC. So if the party hierarchy rally behind to win the primaries, then they ate handing the constituency to NPP on a silver platter.

Should your ghost remain in the failed parliament in perpetuity? There is always the first time and we grow form there.

Avoka reflects the power thirsty posture of Unoka-Akufo Addo, who is desperate, and can't wait to be president, he will never be. Amen!

Parliament should rely on institutional memory through such things as the Hansard rather than the memory of particular individual dinosaurs in Parliament. Does it mean that Parliament cannot continue to work well should these mortal dinosaurs die one by one as they are just nothing but mere mortals?

In some countries, the legislature is equipped with powerful research personnel and research facilities (including ICT database on major happenings in Parliament and other ICT facilities) which can ensure better institutional memory than human memory which can be frail and forgetful.

Of course, the dinosaurs will not like to ask for such facilities for our Parliament because that will make them less powerful. Shame on them!

You only go to parliament on condition that you are elected by your constituents. You don't go to a particular institution to learn how to be a member of parliament. It is just like saying that being the President of Ghana is a career. Wow! How can a seasoned lawyer such as Hon. Avoka think like this? His arguments are flawed and the best thing for him to do is to bow out honourably and give other people the chance to lead their people.
