Who do we blame but ourselves, our corrupt leaders. In this country, a government official will take few cedis for someone to rob the entire nation of millions. In as long as he/she gets their share . Otherwise how on earth could a whole meter on an oil pipeline not function for a whole month before it was reported. Someone had turned a blind eye after linning their pocket. There is nothing like "national documentation " and proper public accountability in this country. The one on top fills his pocket with whatever comes their way.And so everyone does the same.A man says he is civil engineer at highways. He is put up a mansion worth millions at Nungua.Society sees him as a success.I see him as a thief because on his salary ,there is no way he can "make" it this far.His boss must have done the same. Now the streets
in our cities suffer. What are we as a people?

It is only in this country that Lebanese and Indians take us for a ride because they know our government officials are corrupt.

I imagine how Ghana forest will be in ten years to come. Though there are laws but no enforcement. Harvesting without cultivating what then should we expect in future

Do you think these companies are in Ghana to play games? Look at the way their Timber trucks looks old and uncared for whenever they are on the road. Its very scary. No one is ensuring they obey the safety regulation and do whatever they like.
Ministry of forestry indeed. Go to their offices and see how big their stomach are? Total useless people. Always looking for what they will eat today and that's all. Corrupt corrupt corrupt. Most of these people are also elders in their various churches and mosques. Let Ghana turn into desert,,, Useless people
