God, please, kindly save SADA. It should be a policy operating agency, not an operational one. There are ministries and state agencies that have the constitutional mandate to develop the north and Ghana as a whole. SADA's job is to facilitate their quality service provision.
This idea of the Bank for North was mooted years ago under the Aceampong regime and 14 years ago, Bishop, Charles of Isodec/Third World Network and co were meeting in Ringway estate to set up a private Bank for the North. Today, it's SADA! That is not the job of SADA. Let private sector do this job. Rich people from Ghana can contribute and raise the capital. Leave the Government out of this business. Go back to the Isodec idea of creating a private Bank for the Savannah regions.
A few years ago, SADA was supposed to be producing butter nuts for exports, tractors for farmers read family friends of the former CEO, today it's renewable and banking? Where is the focus?
