The Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam -GERD is solely self financed.
All Ethiopians contribute to the GERD Fund as their CITIZENSHIP RESPONSIBILITY. Artists, writers and musicians all dedicate their works to it.
What do we see in Ghana? I side with the minister on this issue. The said institutions are not controlled by him and hence why wouldn't the radio station contact the said institutions rather bother the minister. Besides it is not as if they'll give him information about the profits they make directly so why ask him. If a government company and a big one at that defaults in payments of contracts it signed with another (foreign) compacompany why should the minister of power be dragged into it whiles the said company is there. We're always talking about decentralisation but always throw questions at the wrong persons or institutions. Contact HRs of the said companies and not a government official who has other businesses to attend to. I don't see this issue as he running away from his responsibilities. By the way insulting them won't add any megawatts of power...just make your points without insulting anyone please guys.

The bottom line in my estimation is that, the current cabinet ministers of the administration are mere spectators and it suggests that Ghana is experiencing yet another dictatorship not a democracy.

I like the minister’s honesty, absolutely, he is mere spectator; and has right there by his responses cast the first vote of no confidence in the administration he serves. He is upset in the state of affairs himself otherwise he would have defended the administration. My dear Ghanaians, don’t hold it against him, he just does not know because it is a ONE-MAN-SHOW like we experienced some decades ago.

The man has been totally disappointed by Prez Mahama.Before he accepted to be the power minister he was asked to come out with his proposals including a budget which was accepted by Mahama.With that onboard he knew Mahama was going to provde the neccesary inputs so he told Ghanains that he will resign from his job as power minister if he fails to stop DUMSOR by the end of the year.Now the help is not forthcoming hence his utrances.He is fostrated now because they don't discuss issues with him anymore.THANK YOU.
