We'll not pay the ridiculous 100% proposal; what their doing is to have enough slack during the negotiations with PURC. They won't get more than 20% with an election year around the corner.

They need money for the new version of Toyota Prado 4WD which cost $120,000 per mamanger. GRIDCO just bought like 30 of them for their managers so GWSC Managers also needs to look good. These ones come with genuine emission indicators unlike VW.

With over 100 Managers across the country the money requested by Ghana water would have to come from somewhere and the Ghanaian taxpayers like their ECG and GWSC Managers to look good and feel well rested when they come to work so we would payup.

Good. We understand but there is a very important aspect regarding all these calculations. The machinery purchases, operating costs etc etc are dollar & or euro related & converted and when compared to the average Ghanaians' salaries makes the increments abnormal.

Don't forget that we care for the Ghanaians & we shall never be forgiven if we ever think of submitting this proposal to the same Ghanaians.

They should go and collect the arrears the John Mahama NDC gov't and those industries who consume the bulk of electricity owe, and that will over-capitalize their expansionary and development efforts for the next 10 years before talking about any increase in tariffs.

Why are they talking about raising further capital instead of doing the math how increase in supply and demand would lead to ability to pay for the loans taken?
Why are all our Ministers of Finance appearing so deceptive and conniving with the Presidents office to dupe the nation all the time?
