Nothing works in Ghana due to filthy brain, curruption, stealing selfishness. Instead of using the prfits the airline makes to buy new parts to fix problem, the Ghanaman will pocket the money to find girls, get new houses, ca ...

I'm not surprised, with our kind of maintenance culture here. You take your car to the mechanic and it comes back with some screws missing and he tells you "don't worry, it's no problem, it will still work", or "master, this ...

Mind you , there is a big difference
between a car and an airplane. Aircrafts have a maintenance schedules
and do not wait until there is a problem before rushing to the engineers

  • Joe Turkey 8 years ago

JSS journalists, the "poles holding the tires" are called landing gears. Sounds like the teacher who told his class hypos are water cows. See what Jerry Rawlings' JSS has done to Ghana?

  • Angelo 8 years ago

Thank you Joe Turkey. Some journalists indeed. They feel too proud to ask for the correct names. I felt ashamed when i read " the polenholding the front tyres". Shocking indeed.

  • kwasi 8 years ago

Well it's called tyres not tires

  • Me Too 8 years ago

In some countries like USA,it is called tires. But in any case, the writer needs some technical writing skills.

  • Nana Addo Danquah 8 years ago

Maybe that is why it is called landing gear, it is a system or collection of parts. The metal poles, the rubber tyres plus other components. The poles alone cannot be the landing gear, can it?

  • Joe Turkey 8 years ago

Yes, the problem was with the system (landing gear), not the "pole"

  • Maame 8 years ago

Hahahahhah, you just cracked me up Joe Turkey, LOL.
