Indeed those were the days when men were playing. The current crop of infants would have had no chance at all. GONE ARE THE DAYS. Football is now a money making business & the beauty of the game has in a way eroded .

GFA's former Chairman for Western Region,Mr Lee Yankey (alias Tricky Lee) was a man of multi talents.When I was a school boy at the Ketan Roman Catholic Middle School,Tricky Lee was a teacher at the Ketan Methodist Middle School.He played football very well in the teachers team with my teacher Swapim who also plaayed for Sekondi Eleven Wise at the same time.Tricky Lee moved away from teaching to the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Regional Office.He started training the boys and girls cultural drumming and dancing.He also worked for the Sports Council in Sekondi.He became a businessman later with his father's printing press in Sekondi.He moved to Takoradi and continued the printing press business there.His passion for football was oustanding and was always there to help the colts and all the football management in the region.Nyantakyi should bring onboard players from all regions into the Black Stars again by making the local league very attractive again.Thank you.
