So from 2013 we have had no deputy IGP and the reason is what?
Mahama has the reason in his head but it will not be for long. Ghana will vote him out.

It never happened in Rawlings 20 years rule and it will never happened in NDC regime that an Ashanti will ever be a commander or a deputy in any of the forces except the prisons.

This position has been left vacant for obvious reasons,the government of the day want to push Rose Bio Atingah who was promoted from a regional commander to a commissioner position few months ago.This woman has demonstrated to the whole world that she's an appendix of the ndc hence their relentless efforts to impose her above others,the police service should prove that they respect the constitution and the laws of this country and demand that the right thing be done and not put their tails in between their legs in perpetual silence rather than obeying unnecessary command from those who clearly ve shown their political colors,such others only goes to advance their course interns of promotion.Obviously the fine police officers who want to exhibit professionalism re often left behind because politicians ll always fish for those who can be manipulated to advance their political course,until the Current IGP,s appointment everyone thought he was experience enough but what do we see now?basic democratic right to demonstrate has become a tag of war this days just because his paymaster ll not want that happen,beside he knows he goes when the ndc part loses power,his self confidence has gone so low that,he no longer see reasons to protect his professional believes as a police chief.Any more person who allows his/herself to become an appendix of any government,ll be remembered for the bad reasons because politicians ll always push you to do the wrong things even to the extent that the religion that binds on your conscience is relegated to the background.

It's now clear Mr Patrick Timbila was set up to disqualify him from becoming the next IGP by the mafia hands in the police service and the government just because he's not a push over,we may be ordinary people but the writings re just too clear on the wall as no one needs a magician to tell him their unseen hands pulling the strings.If all the learned brains in the police service refuse to push for reforms I'm afraid this is how they ll work hard and get ridiculed in the end and booted out.This is exactly what is happening to the judiciary,the silent majority kept quiet and allowed the few corrupt ones to bring their prestigious job as judges into disrepute.What we need as a country is institutional revolution to reform every sector in Ghana,even basic level examination see innocent JHS peoples exam papers cancelled and nobody takes the director general of GES on,so who fight for this kids? Does it mean it affects only the poor people's kids?what meaning re we giving to education when people with big big degrees can sit down for all this rot to go on?.Our president is a talkative who speak English but do not understand the words and meanings of the words he interweaves even to the level of his address at the UN General assembled,he lied about the economy and energy (dumsor) forgetting that they don't expect the truth from him because the various embassies know us more than we know ourselves,ve we suddenly forgotten of the diplomatic cable leaks?and IMF who occasionally ll set the records straight.
