Not to be negative, but what do we have that we should celebrate about?! The beaches are dirty, the country is corrupt, people spirits are down, our roads are bad, etc. Ghana could be the one of the best tourist destination in the world. We have peace, now if we can clean our country of dirty beaches and corruption then we can join the tourism celebration.

Kofi, so you mean there are no positive things you can say about Ghana tourism? Your head is indeed buried in the sand like an ostrich does. Did you ever meet any tourist in your village? At the beach, In Accra, Winneba, Castles etc. At least be fair in your comment. We should give suggestions how to improve upon whatv we have.

The examples are the beaches are dirty. True but are they not being cleaned regularly from all the debris being thrown into the sea by Ghanaians? Are they not being cleaned? On infrastructure, Ghanaian roads have improved a lot over the past decade. Both the NPP and the NDC have been upgrading the roads. I guess you expect every road to be done to be satisfied. Even in the developed countries, their roads are being reconstructed annually. All I am saying is Not all the roads can be done in order to increase tourism by 100%. Not all the beaches can be cleaned 100% because Ghanaians are the ones dirtying the beaches. Who do you want to clean all the beaches to perfection, when Ghanaina are the ones doing it. All that any government can do is keep improving on them. But to totally end the way KOFI did was to suggest that there was nothing to celebrate! When we disagree with someone, then its up to us to offer suggestions, if not its one sided and academic dishonesty. That's what is lacking in out discussions in Ghana - no matter which party you belong to. Lets give credit where credit is due before we criticize.

Hey Madam, Just ensure we have enough and adequate Public Toilets around before embarking on that celebration and promotion of tourism. The situation is ridiculous at present. Just think about it.
