His conscious mind is very weak; he is at the moment relying on his sub conscious mind to reason. If you test his pronouncements you can deduce that there is no substance or shriek of sense in them; all his sayings are not structured and has no connection with reality.

A generation is 10 years precisely for those who do and know. The only way for him to achieve that, is to seize power and become a dictator for more than 10 years and

unfortunately even with that, time is not on his side due to age.

I really, really, really hate politicians like him who will promise heaven just to get the seat to further enrich himself and his family.

Someone kindly ask Nana Addo if he remembers any of the 8 or more people who died in the 1990s following him to demonstrations.

Fellow Ghanaians, we only get this opportunity to get the best party for the job every 5 years. It's a long time we wait to change if we get the wrong person for the job like we have at present with this useless current government. We should no longer sell our votes cheaply, to date I have not seen any commitment made by any party in how they will change the status quo and improve our lives quickly and for the better.

I am not convinced any of the parties have a plan that is credible and therefore all we hear are sound bites with nothing tangible to show. Nana show us your plan.......

Jonny, you make a good point BUT please allow me to respond, in 2010 when the NDC were in power (btw I am party agnostic, I want the best party for the job not tribal politics so we just easily give our vote even if we don't believe the party has competence) all the stars lined up for them, the price of gold at a all time high, the price of cocoa all time high, beauxite and for that matter oil although we had not yet started to realise. There was no reason why we could not hedge at that time to maximise our potential revenues. Point I am making is we (government) could have invested to make maximum revenue so as they could use this to develop areas of the economy that over time would not be reliant on the commodities sector which was booming then. I am not interested in what finger pointing to say they mis managed but that's what they have done, net effect being with the downturn in commodities we have seen the economy fail so as today we have now been classed as a HIPIC country. Don't you feel ashamed, I certainly do. Nana has not come up with a credible alternative and that was my point. We will never come out of this boom/bust mostly bust cycle of economics if we as the voting electrol don't tell our leaders that they should not expect our votes by just stating some nonsense statements as Nana was alleged to have said, we need the right leader and we need to see what they represent so we can scrutize that they are worthy of you and my vote. Don't give your vote cheaply and be let down. On the point around the global economic down turn, we as a country and for that matter a continent have zero impact in what's happening in the global economy. We are a net receiver and not a contributor to global economics, that simply means whether there is a global boom or recession we generally have no impact. Remember my brother we all want the same thing, a good stable environment where we can contribute and earn enough to feed our family and be able to plan our lives beyond weeks/months.......

You are not concerned that Ghanaians are suffering and worse off than when Kuffour (not Akuffo Addo) was president comparably. Given that Akuffo Addo did not have total control as to how the country was managed I think he deserves a chance to show what he can do when in charge.

He cannot do worse than Mahama who has taken us back to HIPIC, highly indebted country status. While begging IMF for a paltry sum of 900 million and only a part given, as a politician, Mahama has been able to stash away $900m buying private hotels in Dubai and educating his children there in American schools in Dubai.

That unhealthy condition is primarily why Ghana always have to borrow to support the budget. I'm wondering if All-Die-Be-Die is saying he will create more jobs by further bloating the government payroll.
By the structural nature of Ghana's job environment and lack of personal integrity, the private sector is not capable enough and ready to absorb the thousands of students who graduate from so many universities currently operating in Ghana every year. The most credible thing for any candidate to say is to honestly present ways to support the private sector to expand, and not just promising the creation of jobs. Allowing people to sell on every street and corner is not job creation.
