My great grandfather is a traitor and a thief; my father followed his steps and ended up in prison,

I inherited all their ill gotten wealth and want to fulfil the dream my father had about me when he was in prison that I will one day become the head of state to release him from prison.

My father cautioned if I have to sell the properties to become what he dreamt of I have to

Now I have sold all the treasure bequeathed to me to enable me become head of state. Unfortunately failure has been my portion and I’m over 70 years of age; my father too is no more. This is not my dream but my fathers.

A sports park or turf is not the outfit that conducts elections in this country and so the EC would have to receive the petition from Ghanaians, as the body Ghanaians have given the mandate to oversee and conduct all processes underlying our democratic dispensation. The EC must and will have to receive that petition from the citizenry.

First commonsense will tell you or any dumb(not dummiest but dumbest)person of your ilk that you, sitting wherever you are typing your comment, does not have any right under this Sun, in this country or anywhere else for that matter to determine or even begin to determine, or suggest or seek to suggest according to your own interpretation, how many people or the process by which peaceful Ghanaians should present their petition to a body ie the EC established as a consequence of their mandate.
Secondly, if you were not to be blinded by deep-seated mindless intellectual hollowness and you were just casually following, or had had the presence of mind to follow the presentation of petitions by any of the various political parties in this country, or any organization be it the labour unions, civil society organizations etc, etc, commonsense will tell you that the 6 or so people you talk about, almost always are elected at the time of presentation to give the petition to the receiving party, and not the 10,000 people you so foolishly seek to suggest.
Thirdly, we would want to believe you have the blood alcohol content(BAC) as measured by a breathalyzer of those you describe as drunken thugs to support your egregious and loud-mouthed claims and can back it up.
Fourthly, I thought I would not see it, but it seems just a little flicker or spark was triggered in your coconut to start it churning in appreciating that we are not a lawless country.
It is a democracy and everybody would go according to the law including the Police, who disrupted a peaceful procession by law-abiding Ghanaians in exercising their fundamental, constitutional, democratic and human right to present a petition to a body mandated by Ghanaians and not any President or political party, but all Ghanaians, in their task of conducting and ensuring free, fair, credible and transparent elections in this country.
That is the beauty of democracy.

I think the leaders of the DEMO got it all wrong! They got nothing out of the DEMO because they gave all their rights to the Police. They should have challenged the so-called order which stipulated that the EC area is a SECURITY ZONE in the law court.

Secondly, it is not right for them to have accepted to meet the Chairperson of the EC somewhere other than the EC premises to present their petition. It makes nonsense of the DEMO! At least the leadership should have been allowed to present their petition at the premises of the EC.
If they are planning to do the DEMO again then they should plan very well and not put innocent lives on the streets to be brutalised by the Police.

Any way this is a party very much associated with these types of acts.

why spent money foolishly, when money is needed for other things such as school, hospitals, etc.

Why do you want to make things difficult just because you want power?

I think best solution to this is to create the Akan state so that you can become the president. It will be very easy. After all, without gold, others can develop.
