I agree he should be paid fully and probably compensated for the undue agony he's been put through. More importantly the BNI should launch an investigation to bring the culprits to book. There should be a massive uprising by the government and people of Ghana to demand equality and dictatorship of the law to all people without fear or favor. I believe this is only one of many cases out there awaiting D-Day. Let do what is right because it is the right thing to do.

If the Benefits Office had checked well, they would have promptly realized they were paying the Benefit to the wrong man.

Meanwhile, isn't just too sad that almost 30 years service to the Government could only get him a mere GHC 1,500, less than half of what the current MPs earn in a Month! What a shame!!

And not only was he not paid that paltry sum, he was jailed and made to pay the Government money that was due him but the Government's own stupidity and ineptitude had allowed an imposter to claim.

What a double jeopardy!

This guy has to petition his MP or even directly to the President for prompt payment with accumulated interest, plus compensation for wrongful incarceration.

Such nonsense of mistreating fellow Citizens must stop. Officials who often cheat at work are the ones who intimidate the Public to deter folks from exposing their misdeeds.
