This is not about temptations. It is about having systems in place to enforce our laws and make accountability the default condition.

As you know, in US everybody has a social security number and files income taxes every year. So there is no way you assume some position today and put up 10 luxury mansions in 2 years. You have to account for your earnings, business expenses, taxes etc. and nobody is exempted, not even the President.

That is the reason why the 'hood drug dealers and others engaging in dubious activities do cash only, but they are known and easily identifiable and jailed. And common background checks will screen such people out from taking higher offices.

What is so different about Ghana that we cannot pick even one of such principles and enforce that and see how it benefits the taxpayers? Not even one.

Corruption is not just about temptations and greed, it is about lack of information and hiding information. can you tell me how much a contractor is paid to pave a street in Ghana? yet elsewhere any government contract documents and records of payments etc are public information that anyone can request, download or view by simply walking to City Hall and asking for it. But in Ghana go and ask for one and see what happens.

Can anyone tell us how much Ghana recived from say gold or oil activities? And where is the money? Can anybody walk to some government office and request this information and be given right there and then?

But we talk about corruption being a temptation? No. It is due to systemic failures. And yet not a single candidate talks about implementing any of such. none. Not even the US educated and trained ones. The late President Mills got a PhD in tax law related work from Stanford, and yet we did not see any such improvements. President Kufuor also had some experience on such topics from Oxford. but nothing. Why?

I know you yourself are well versed on such issues. How will you implement some systems like this to make a change?

I still remember the number. Kwame Nkrumah gave us almost all the things he like about USA for living here and learning what USA had, with exceptions. I can say foreigners in USA might like USA in most desighs, but not everything. It goes with them in their exposures to other countries.why do we want to convert human beings to snakes and bruised their heads, while we are skemishes.

And if the opinion is in line with scriptures your ignorance are wash out with salvation of the savior messiah of life, the power of the creator God almighty. This is why salvation is answer to life in abundance. Faith varies, you believe in kenkey, I believe in fufu, some like ampesi or rice. When talking about salvation, you talking about food in general, then you have to sort out which ones are good for you or not good for you. Some food might help others.
