Have you read Article 46 of the 1992 constitution in connection with the Independence of the Electoral Commission? Because you are stupid and naive, I am quoting it here for you :
" Except as provided in this constitution or in any other law not inconsistent with this constitution, in the performance of its functions, the Electoral Commission SHALL NOT BE SUBJECT TO THE DIRECTION OR CONTROL OF ANY PERSON OR AUTHORITY" (Capitals mime). Corrupt John Boadu of the NPP, go ahed and ask your people to go ahead and invade the Electoral Commission Offices and authorise them to prepare a new voter's register. According to Joy fm,they've detected on IMF website that any country that crosses the threshold of 70% of debt to GDP ratio then the country is HIPC.
This is a complete lie, fallacy and a figment their own imagination.

1.There is no resolution, convention or law from IMF or any of the Bretton Wood Institutions which says that any country with debt to GDP of more than 70% shld be classified as HIPC.

2.They also say that if Ghana's debt is shared amongst the people in the country each one will be owing ghc3600 but mischievously they ddn't consider the fact that if the assets of the country is also shared each person will have ghc5360 based on the current GDP.

3.The following are the debt to GDP ratio of countries with even strong and resilient economies.

JAPAN 230%
GREECE 177%
ITALY 132%
CAPE VERDE 144.22%
BELGIUM 106.5%
UNITED STATES 102.98%
SINGAPORE 99.30%
SPAIN 97.7%

At the time Dr Bawumiah disclosed that they detected 76,000 Togolese names in the register, he said they had not then finished using their advanced software to identify all foreigners in the register. That was August 18. If today they are still talking about the same number, then does it mean they could not get any more aliens from Togo, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast in the register?
NPP knows how to use problems of the economy to run down the government yet they are always eager to engage in actions that hurt the economy. Their election petitionwhich took 8 long mmonths to resolve had terrible effects on the economy. We've gone through changes each election cycle and each time there is someone or some party to question the process. What does that tell all you idiots looking for a new voter register? Registration starts with ascertaining who is and who is not a Ghanaian. The next step should be what kind of tamper proof or duplication proof picture/ID do we issue voters to ensure all certified voter ID's are beyond tamper. The final procedure and practice should be a complete network of voting precincts throughout Ghana assuming previous steps above have been attained and in place to ensure the following:

1. There will be no multiple casting of votes by anyone because a system comparison at anytime from any precinct with the national voter register should show who has previously voted and in what precinct.

2. Baring any reported intimidations, road block and interference by and from party members within precincts a new Ghana online voting system would report all votes casted and ongoing directly to the EC central in Accra where representatives from all parties gather to watch vote tallies come in unimpeded and without human interference.

Until then marching on EC offices to demand things that will not solve perceived problems is just a thing desperate political parties engage in when they know they cannot win. Let me put it this way to all you ignorant rabble rousers: we will not get a clean voting result in Ghana until we find a way to ascertain only qualified Ghanaians under our rather childishly written constitution get to vote and with voter identifications that are tamper or duplication proof. All the talk and political speeches will not amount to a hill of beans now or ever until wisdom prevail in Ghana

NPP has always demanded a new register and always lost the elections.They demanded Biometric Voting System in 2012 and still lost the 2012 general elections.They were in power in 2008 and still lost that general elections.They don't have any effective campaign strategy to win elections apart from attacking the EC for nothing,this is shameful.Nana Addo always refuses to concede defeat and finds stories with the register so when are you guys going to leran?Thank you.

According to Joy fm,they've detected on IMF website that any country that crosses the threshold of 70% of debt to GDP ratio then the country is HIPC.
This is a complete lie, fallacy and a figment their own imagination.

1.There is no resolution, convention or law from IMF or any of the Bretton Wood Institutions which says that any country with debt to GDP of more than 70% shld be classified as HIPC.

2.They also say that if Ghana's debt is shared amongst the people in the country each one will be owing ghc3600 but mischievously they ddn't consider the fact that if the assets of the country is also shared each person will have ghc5360 based on the current GDP.

3.The following are the debt to GDP ratio of countries with even strong and resilient economies.

JAPAN 230%
GREECE 177%
ITALY 132%
CAPE VERDE 144.22%
BELGIUM 106.5%
UNITED STATES 102.98%
SINGAPORE 99.30%
SPAIN 97.7%

I have always questioned npp's political strategy????.All political and statistical researchers a year ago knew that the NPP was 54%-56% ahead with only 2%SE(standard error) and needed a good political sway till election and likely to win onetouch with about 50.5-51.5%. But the last 3 months has been disastrous with their strategy while NDC rather is gaining substantial grounds. How can you be soo belligerent to the EC about IDs and at large to ghanaians , when you could adopt a negotiating posture which will even win you some votes.
Hmmmm i wish their opinion and political researchers are working .

All these misplaced exercises in Freedom of Speech are in pursuit of their avowed aim of " making the country ungovernable." The security agencies should see these in that light and deal FIRMLY but FAIRLY with them before they plunge the country into darkness. These nation-wreckers should know Freedom of Speech is not ABSOLUTE; there are responsibilities also under it and that the safety of citizens and their right to pursue their legitimate business without undue harassment trump the provisions under which they intend to picket.

Could anyone imagine what would happen if the other political parties decided to hold counter demonstrations?

I personally know some of the so-called security advisors within the party including Kofi Koda because I served in the military with them. They're in the first place COWARDS, DISHONEST, LAZY and always looking for dishonest means of making quick bucks. No wonder the system found and kicked them out.These are the people, aided by their so-called lawyers whom Sam Okudzeto and the late BJ da Rocha asisted through the backdoor to become lawyers, who are directing affairs from the shadows. The mediocrity of this team of clueless lawyers and the witnesses NPP assembled for the election petition was there for the public to see. However as usual, the NPP blamed everybody but themselves for the defeat.

I'm in my early 60s and have lived in Africa, Europe and the USA. I'm also an ardent follower of politics but I haven't come across a political party like the NPP that's so desperate to come to power that it has become CRITICISM-phobic to its own level-headed executives and members,looked down on and hurled insults at certain sections of the community that don't subscribe to their political gangsterism. The members, no doubt with the executive's connivance, have even disparaged the Asantehene at every turn because he hasn't supported their brand of violent politics.

NPP's intentions are clear. The security agencies should therefore be prepared to give them hell. Otherwise, just like their predecessors did, it could be "Kulungungu" again.
