If short term exparts are able to claim their benefits when leaving the country, i dont see anything wrong with the current system. otherwise, the contributions which are supposed to be paid to SNNIT must be added to the exparts salary so that they can built their own private pension for that short while. those who pay social security in their countries of origin who can produce form e101 to support their case are already exempted. If some change is effected which doesnt help the poor worker, the international organisations and embassies would take advantage to sideline the worker of his future pension hopes.

Considering that the best three months salary of contributors are used by the time we return home our Snnit contribution shall be worth nothing. Accordingly tge law should also make room for Ghanaians living outside Ghana to contribute.
I will take this up with you Francis since I have your mail address. Good point once again.
