What most Ghanaians/Africans see is what's in front of them(fiili, fiili). They're mired or chained to the past - their primitive institutions and cultural traditions, bogus interpretation of the BIBLE and worshipping of fraudulent prophets.
While Americans,Europeans and Asians are using their God given brains to experiment,go to the Moon and Mars, invent the internet and a host other scientific achievements - Ghanaians/Africans are busy singing and clapping at all-night churches, and waiting for the BOSS upstairs to drop MANNA on their plates - from heaven.
The lack of VISION,CLEAR and CRITICAL THINKING,and EXPERIMENT,is a curse on Africa. Certainly,Awuah is an outlier and ought to be praised for his vision.

I would have attached software and web design business to the school, training smart students to work with me to generate income.web designs could automate local markets of Ghana, this includes foodstuff, rural farms that people could go and buy food in bulk, especially, in bronahafo region where most yam and other plantations could me found. These are my personal dreams, I am sharing Awuah. Make your students productive for hands on schooling. You are operating in a third world environment, where understanding is limited. To sustain yourselve, you have to go beyond the norm orformal to instil new ways in the country. I wish I am in the country to team up with you.

Mr. P.Awuah, I suggest that you rather look for partnership rather than closing the university. In business, the word RISK determines how strategic one is. You team up other academias in ghana to reverse your decision.

Any time once name doesn't sound likewise you then tag as npp,he is here giving the public the challenges which came on his way of setting up private university in his home land yet due to your personal hatred against some group of people won't let you think twice.yes look at Apostle Safo kantaka with his self made cars and a whole lot stuff however the nation refused to help him to come out with more employment but rather they chose to invest in an Indian tractor assembly plant in Ghana, when our own Apostle can do all these things.hmmm lord have mercy.

I applaud the founder of Ashesi University....remarkable job...however the pressing question many well-meaning people are asking is this: how many of the school's graduates actually get jobs after graduation? Reliable reports put the number of unemployed university graduates at 300,000. This is a staggering number and these new universities have to account for this unfortunate statistic.

Like Pastor Asafo who is also struggling and still hold to his ambition. Rather Ghana has pump money into a tractor innovation from India. Ghana goverment when shall we grow. Why is America outsourcing tech job to Indian. What can India do and Ghanaian cannot do. If only out government could stop corruption things will be better. Ashesi. You have done your best. Ghana Will remember your vision one day and regret not helping you to infuse your talent into Ghanaian. Stay strong. God bless You Sir.
