This is the character of our nation and the white man knew this since the days of slavery that Ghanaians just know how to play along to be slaves. Our own people will overzealously enslave us for the white man just for pat on the back as "good man". That's all the Ghanaian like the K4s in our midst wants. All they need is a white man to tell them how good they are, and they're ready to drive their own people thru a humiliating ordeal in other to make a white company recognizes them.

Who fixes the price of gold to be higher to entice you to take more loans from the IMF, and the moment you take in this loan hopping you gonna make some windfall profit to quickly pay off the loan, the same people who jacked up the price to empowered you to take the loan quickly drops the price of gold in order for you to sell more gold at a cheap price to pay off the loan?
This game cycle has been visited upon us time and time again that we just believe it's not a game but is the MARKET.
Why do we believe the white man that it's the market? Simply because we think anyone who looks like a homo jesus can't lie?

Blame the governmentWhy do they allow the companies to do as they like have we forgotten benchmarking in the workplace.In Ghana no one cares abouT a mine worker, cocoa farmer etc. The politicians care about sectors they can make money.What explains local content law in il and Gas an infant industry but not in mining for a country formerly called Gold Coast.Any exxpartriate can occupy a top post in Ghana,how many Ghanaians are General Managers of the top mines in Ghana after producing some many qualified personnel. This will not happen in Botswana,South Africa, Zimbabwe etc. Ghanaians must wake up.We are a laughing stick in terms of mining .The reason why all the qualified guys emigrate out of Ghana to land better jobs.

Yes, the SA guys are ready to die for a conviction.
And EFF had exploited that anger of the cold blooded killing of mine workers and laid the blame on the shoulders of the ANC and Zuma, and used the anger to gain more members to win seats in parliament.

We in Ghana had reduced politics to the gutter and no one is ready to go thru the fire for the fear of the unknown.

We are happy to pay foerign miners huge sums of money but our own peanut. They guys must have access to library facilities and ICt to up grade their skills and level of education.

Expats make what they would in their home country. That's the way all over the world. Nothing you can do about it.
The real inequality is between Ghana mine workers and professionals in Ghana (Doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, accountants etc). A nearly illiterate mine worker makes more than a highly educated teacher or a nurse in Ghana. Why, because the GMWU has been pushing for higher and higher mine workers salaries over the years, which are at unsustainable levels, especially given the drop in gold price.
