There is no doubt that Mrs. Charlotte Osei has already failed in her duty as an independent EC boss. And what Mr. Kofi said in his article concerning her failure to investigate the over-sized voters' register allegations when some details were revealed by Dr. Bawumia and confirmed by the NDC foot-soldiers cements that fact. The EC has miserably failed our democracy.
What happened at Talensi gave us an idea on how the NDC government and its security apparatus would react to any instance of electoral malpractice they commit in this country, but we expect the EC to maintain some degree of independence as an impartial referee between the political players. WE SAY: We agree! That comparison does not work - it is not valid!
ITEM: As we are taking a closer look at the Dr. Bahumia Power Point slides, it is becoming clear to us that a lot more items in that document will not stand up to critical analysis!
As such, Dr. Bawumia's recommendations do not necessarily follow the evidence he presents.
