  Because kayayeis and truck pusher were allowed to partake in the drafting of the 1992 constitution under Rawlings. The chairman of the NDC in Abuakwa South, Kyebi who calls himself Alhaji Adams was a former pantry boy at Ab uakwa State College. He has never been to school before yet constituency chairman for NDC. Shame.

  Mr Abotsi, who was speaking on the topic: “Religious tolerance in educational institutions: A legal perspective, “in Accra said this development has affected the institutional vision of the schools and their ultimate performances as educational institutions. “
  
  “….. caught in the vortex of stagnation ….”. Proper malapropism or unimaginable imagery!!!! Ever seen a stagnant vortex? A vortex by definition is a spiral motion, conical in shape, with increasing diameter of the motion in the upward direction. So how can it be stagnant?
  
  And Mr Abotsi, who is the DEAN OF LAW at GIMPA was speaking on a topic entitled “Religious tolerance in educational institutions: A legal perspective “.
  
  How is what he said here related to the topic?
  
  Why are our elites so consumed with the urge to drool sound bites with complete disregard to sense and rhythm?
  
  In any case, if the attempt “had been largely stillborn” how did it produce “the vortex”?

  This lawyer is caught in the capsule of the past. Missionaries controlling schools was a colonial devise to leave the indoctrination of the natives to the foreign religions. They did a good job by brainwashing the youth with foreign religious values and tramping down on native values and morals. The result are the likes of this lawyer who cannot lecture in his native language and believes that before the white man came wehad no laws. I hope the transformation is not only for the physical environments but also a signal to change the ethos and values of education in Ghana
