Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah whose ideas any Nkrumaist must follow was not a person who made unneccessary compromises. He always made clear his visions for Ghana and Africa. Now the people of Ghana have come to realize that most officials of the present CPP are incosistent and lip-service Nkrumaists. PNC claims they have a secret pact with NDC which follows no ideology to develop Ghana.
PPP says they should be in no way be associated with Nkrumaism. Former top ranking members of CPP are now top shots in NPP. Still, CPP wants us to believe that they are in serious negotiations with the above named lip-service Nkrumaist parties to form a unified front to get to power so as to put Nkrumah's ideas into practice.
Does CPP expect the youth or Ghanaians who really believe in Nkrumaism to trust their utterances? Not me? Instead of the party supporting Samia to direct the show, I read of some people from Upper West already thinking of someone else. It is not a matter of which leader appeals to certain class of people but rather who is prepared not to compromise the Nkrumaist ideology. It will take all members of the party to convince Ghanaians that Nkrumaism is worth pursuing. And this can be done with selfless and dedicated Nkrumaists rather than lip-service Nkrumaists as was the case when Nkrumah ruled Ghana and which was the main reason that the anti-Nkrumah quislings could overthrow Nkrumah's government.
I will still advise Samia that if she really wants Nkrumaism to flourish in Ghana then, she must reconsider her position and the people she deals with for many are mere opportunists rather than faithful to Osagyefo's ideas. Since Nkrumaism will eventually triumph in Ghana and Africa, a political party made of true and dedicated Nkrumaists will surface to take the mantle and free the people. The more time is delayed however, the harder will be the battle.

I thought Mr. Yaboa was going to say something sensible to deepen our democracy rather than engage in Mr. Mosquito's type of myopic street talk to blindfold Ghanaians. What we demand is the closure of all loopholes in our electoral system to prevent any party, now or in the future, from engaging in electoral thievery. We believe that the elimination and systematic reduction of electoral thievery coordination blind spots will effectively save our country from potential threats that could destroy our peaceful coexistence and steady development in the near future.
We, therefore, reject the misleading arguments you and Mr. Nketia are making to bury the truth between another Azorka boys and Bolga Bull Boys scenario to prevent cleaning up the register for the benefit of all the political parties in Ghana. You are a disgrace for calling yourself an independent presidential candidate with this type of backward ideas because you should've been calling for a level ground to compete freely, fairly and democratically. By the way, are you also planning to steal votes in order to become president, when you already know that there exist more experienced and dangerous electoral thieves in the system?

Do you know why there is such a strong partisanship in Ghana? It actually started long ago when Kwame Nkrumah divided the nation into patriots and traitors. Patriots were those who accepted that he should be president for life, practice one party state (Polity Bureau) system and indulge in leftist anti-West propaganda, using the country's meager resources to challenge centuries' old, well-established Western countries. The patriots even accepted that he should act as the savior of Black men around the world, while tyrannizing his own Black people at home simply because they had alternative views on how to develop their own country.
Those who wanted him to concentrate more on the basic needs of our people and tone down his rhetoric against the powerful were called traitors, reactionaries, and agents of imperialism that should be liquidated or imprisoned dead or alive. Could you believe that the opposition members he was tyrannizing were the very people who started the struggle for our independence? They employed Nkrumah and paid for his ticket from the UK to come and work as a general secretary of the group, saving him from the tyranny and humiliation of being unemployed in London. The Independence Struggle Vanguards were senior civil servants in the Gold Coast and, as the struggle was gaining momentum and scope of the activities widening, they needed someone to work full-time for the group free from official work constrains to further spread the message of the struggle.
Under their sponsorship and protection, Nkrumah used the platform to become a public face of the group and his popularity soared. Being the General Secretary and voice of the group, he was considered by many as the leader because; a lot of our people in those days could not differentiate between the spokesperson and the leaders. So, Nkrumah used the platform to drum up support for himself underground scheming to undermine the group because, he was a communist and they were democratic liberal conservatives. Subsequently, when he heard from the Governor General's female secretary, who was later sacked, that the British were getting ready to grant us independence as they had promised, he increasingly used needless militant tactics to provoke the Whiteman in order to gain prominence when the 'wind of change' was already blowing, and to embarrass his employers in order to outfox them. He then used the opportunity to break away from the group, forming his own party and slapping them from the back to take power.
This explains the strong partisanship in Ghana and why Nkrumah didn't want the Liberation Vanguards to ever come to power in his life time. Maybe he was afraid of his own ghost, or because he was a communist and communist don't share power. Despite all these facts, his supporters still want us to believe that he initiated, spearheaded and single handedly fought for our independence, and had the right to treat the country as if it were a kingdom or his private property.
