The politicians and teachers need a new curriculum to wipe the darkness from their mind and their too much talk talk.
They need a BIG OVERHAUL in thinking about how to include 50% practicals from class 1 to last semester of University.
They themselves need to leave their offices and supervise their respective jurisdiction instead of leaving to under-performing greedy-lazy subordinates to like to look on their phone and do little.

Why do people, including these empty-headed educators, always over-analyze? If nurses are not employable then it means all current nursing vacancies are filled. It doesn't mean that the nursing training needs to change. On-the-job training is always needed for any graduate. If employers have vacancies, they will hire the smart ones among the abundant graduates and train them. Haven't Dr. Darkwa and Prof. Yankah heard of how companies are suffering because of dumso, corruption and economic mismanagement in Ghana? Where are the companies to hire people? Government is also not hiring.

Good point. It's common sense really. Yet, listen to these educators who should know better. No wonder the country is in a mess with educators like that. Maybe, they're saying that at the behest of the govt.

The problem is more with the economy which is stagnant.A vibrant, expanding economy is the answer to solving the graduate unempolyment problem. The government should pay more attention to the private sector which in any country is the highest employer of graduates. The government can also establish SOES[STATE OWNED ENTERPRISES]and employ well paid professional managers of repute to run them profitably. These SOES will no doubt create jobs for some of our unemployed graduates. The government should also offer incentives and training to the unemployed graduates to establish their own small businesses.

I wonder if they take into considerations, factors that could sustain employment before they jump to castigate. He could also created a job to employ people. Enough of this dishonestly.
