  Since SAP(structural adjustment program ) PAMSCAD (program of action to mitigate the social cost of adjustment ) HIPIC -and other numerous interventions from IMF / World bank have not culminatively saved our economy, I don't see how this one would be a success story .
  The world bank naturally would assure Ghanaians of the bright prospects since they are running the program with the govt. We have taken huge loans in the last six years which should have not only stabilized the economy, but also improved standard of living significantly. On the contrary, the Ghanaian is slowly pushed to the ebb misery.

  We have heard these praises in the past.During Jerry Rawlings time all sorts of programs were introduced and lots of good things were said about Ghana,s economy,however at the end of it all the economy became HIPC.That is exactly what is happening now.How can a country with so much debt be said to be on a good path?.
