Okoampah, you must rather be asked that question whether you're right in your head! .The answer is certainly NO! .The reason is that you're as much drug addicted like your cousin Akuffo Addo!

I hardly agree with the Prof, especially when it comes to the way he uses very harsh language in his writings. I certainly did not like his heading even though he put "Upstairs" in quotes. This is a rare exception for me. If you don't understand what is being discussed here and you choose to use one of your boiler-plate responses, then that is your problem.
For those who see nothing wrong with what Justice Obiri did, by making himself a prosecutor, judge and jury, and hastily sending the accused to prison, even when the State had not completed its investigations, etc., I guess you have not been following how Judicial systems work both in Ghana and elsewhere.
What Justice Obiri did was very dangerous to the rule of law.
And by saying this, I am not saying that the accused is innocent. I agree however with all those who are saying that the Judge short-circuited the process of properly charging an accused and affording the person the chance to properly defend themselves, even if the outcome is near/almost certain.

We all claim to understand English Language which is our National language very well after some formal education, yet we tend to interpret everything in English with our vernacular. It was an apt description by the Prof.

We cannot blame the silliness of Clifford on the English Language or the Vernaculars. The Prof's discourse is clear and means the same thing in all vernaculars. The problem is some people have some preconceived ideas about certain individuals to the extent they do not even see the need to fully read articles published by those individuals before rushing to this site to display their ignorance. Though one may not necessarily agree with everything expressed by Okoampa, his analysis of the court proceeding granted, he must definitely be right about the crux of the matter - THAT JUDGE OBIRI ERRED !!

Jedge Obiri, Susec class of 95, has no business being a Judge. He barely won a case as a private lawyer and was on the verge of ending his legal career because of his losing cases. His brother, NPP Sunyani regional chairman, used his influence to get him a judgeship when Kuffour was on his way out. His elevation to Judgeship was all about croyism over competence and the result is what we are seeing.

Ken i strongly agree with your assertion about judge obiri. Most of the cases he presided over and passed judgment are highly controversial and sometimes I wonder how and what informs his conclusion and decisions to pass such judgment or sentences onto accused persons brought before him. It is worrying inddeed though i expected a conviction on the accused thus Charles Antwi but not in such a hasty manner. I wanted the state to dig dip into the matter to unravel circumstances surrounding antwis behaviour or attempt to assassinate the president.

Simply, Justice Obiri demonstrated nothing more than a staggering level of incompetence.
