I know there are a lot out there who believe Nana Akufo-Addo is already rich just like the dimwits who said Kufour was rich; Kufour came into the presidency to raid every cash box that was not bolted down or had an honest gatekeeper.
Nana Akufo-Addo is supposedly so rich by Ghana standard he has to rely on others to fund his numerous political campaigns by people using mostly foul means to earn their riches. I cannot think of any one public servant who has negatively touched Ghanaian lives when he had all the opportunities in the limited world of Ghanaians to be the greatest statesman and beloved hero of our generation but who blew it because of loyalty to tribe and political party than Nana Akufo-Addo.

Ghana is now suffering and plagued by a toxic broth of incompetence, ineptitude, cluelessness, lack of vision and almighty grave and unprecedented, gargantuan thievery, which is completely obliterating the fortunes of this country, and burying Ghana in the abyss of retrogression and stagnation under the John Dramani Mahama-led NDC gov't.
It is clearly a failed bridge to nowhere, and Ghana needs to jettison this Mahama-led NDC gov't at the ballot box in 2016, lest this country goes over the cliff of absolute and complete damnation, and stays put in that quagmire, forever.

Meanwhile, Ghanaians resident abroad are still denied their right to vote. What is in it for them, but vain and empty promises. If they lose 2016, will they get a refund? This is interesting and wonderful address from Nana. But i have two simply observations. 1. If you can rebuild Ghana's economy, how come you can't rebuild your party which you are the leader? I think what is happening now in the NPP is beyond worse. What are you doing about it as the leader of the party? I am aware your party has solicited the intervention of men of God to do that for you. 2. If as a leader of just a political party and you can't fix the party's internal problems, how can you fix Ghana's problems.

Nana with due respect "is not about talk is about do". If indeed you want to secure the votes of descending Ghanaians like some of us you have to demonstrate those skills and competencies you would apply to rebuild the economy at the level of your party...micro level! But I am afraid so far you have not been able to do that.

Finally, mere saying this without indicating how you are going to it will not convince floating voters. And I do not need to remind you that without the votes of floating voters, I do not see how you will realize your childhood dream and your ambition to become the president of Ghana.

Even in July 2015, Nana Akufo-Addo is still talking in abstract like some of the post -independence vague politicians. He still cannot think that Ghanaians are politically well aware in their community. Those were the days when these unscrupulous politicians would go to our people in the villages and towns and promise them heavens and earth which they couldn't deliver. Unfortunately, the poor people trusted them but were deceived and badly taken for granted! Reading through Nana Akufo-Addo's speech I am rather disappointed he couldn't seize the opportunity to explain the constructive and practical means all what he proposed could be achieved. Obviously, there is a vast difference between 1st class and 3rd class. The later somehow just parrot fashion the theories whilst the former would demonstrate the practical and constructive means of the theories or the concept, giving examples and making appropriate and legitimate references to support their claims. That is the difference between 1st class and 3rd class.
Just too say that ' a)increasing agricultural productivity by supporting farmers and fishermen build strong financial system- b) unacceptable level of corruption-c) good management of the economy d)a working country and not saying HOW and WHAT means is vague and irresponsible. Anybody who can read and write can make such lose and unconstructive statement but for a flagbearer and for someone who is aspiring to lead a nation, I beg to say that Nana needs to be more serious with his speeches if he really has the intention to win an election. The unfortunate and the blocking hurdles for Nana is the fact that Ghanaians do not see much of an advancement by ex-President Kufuor and his regime which, Nana was a senior cabinet Minister of State. Corruption, Kufuor claimed started from Adams- a defeatist statement which could be made by an incompetent and non inspiring and visionless leader. It is sad to solely blame any particular government after Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah of the lack of advancement in our basic social amenities like water, electricity, public health and hygiene, education and the infrastructures in Ghana. The worse to my assessment is the, Gen Ankra/Kotoka/Afrifa and Busia Regimes whose naïve and political ignorance and mentality was ' anything Nkrumah' was bad and must be gotten rid of. They neglected all the economic and developmental projects by Nkrumah instead of taking good steps for advancement. What they didn't realise was that by so doing they set the economic development including employment and other social advancements backwards in multiple progression. Acheampong, Liman, have no records of any addition to the electricity in any form. Rawlings added a bit but Kufuors record on good drinking water, electricity and public health are abysmal. This is rather a shame because Kufuor had the opportunity for 8 yrs to prove himself but he sadly could not deliver. Instead it was as usual, the loot the coffers, share the state properties including government plots, estates and playing nepotism and tribal discrimination at the highest level in Ghana's political history. As I have stated all these do not favour Nana Akufo Addo an NPP flagbearer. It is time Nana embark on promoting a practical and constructive alternative policies which can work for Ghana instead of the wild and wide meaningless statements. His speech writers should always ask themselves- HOW AND HOW????.
