  We cannot continue to lay ourselves hostage to fortune. With proper planning and forward thinking, we can address most of the problems we face swiftly and improve our well-being.
  
  Our energy planners need to look at what is available now, and think ahead as to how we can deal with failure of our sources of energy. Proper countermeasures should be put in place to deal with contingencies. Dumso brings to the fore the need to diversify our energy sources.
