A Hemorrhagic Strokes also known as (Bleeds) occurs as a results of a weakened vessel that ruptures and bleeds into the surrounding brain. The blood accumulates and compresses the surrounding brain tissue. The two types of hemorrhagic strokes are intracerebral (within the brain) hemorrhage or subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Hemorrhagic stroke accounts for about 13 percent of all known stroke cases. There are two types of weakened blood vessels usually cause hemorrhagic stroke: 1 - aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). An aneurysm is a ballooning of a weakened region of a blood vessel. If left untreated, the aneurysm continues to weaken until it ruptures and bleeds into the brain.

2 - An arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a cluster of abnormally formed blood vessels. Any one of these vessels can rupture, also causing bleeding into the brain. Now then, Mr. Medical Person, how many hemorrhagic stroke do we have out there now? And oh, the word is spelt HEMORRHAGIC, but not HEAMORRHAGIC, you twerp!

If you carefully read what the report offered, it had adequate information in it to enable us reasonably deduce that no one pushed him. His fall most probably followed the rupturing of that internal organ. Period!

I think it was most disingenuous of the family to allow such rumors thrive for so long to tarnish the reputations of innocent folks before coming out with the exact cause of his death. No doubt everyone knew the late President's cancer had advanced. Organ failure was imminent. So, the least the family could do for Public calm was to set the records straight by coming out immediately after his death to inform the Citizenry of exactly what killed the President. I am not a member of NDC but I think those rumors against the incumbent President was unfair, and unhealthy for our Nation's Politics.

If the late President fell, he could, most likely, have fallen as a consequence of the organ rupturing, and not the other way around. I do not believe the organ ruptured after his fall. The organ's rupture most likely preceded, and caused, his fall. Any fall that would cause such a rupture of an internal organ, especially in the head, would also cause a visible swelling on the part of the skull that might have hit the ground. If the family's revelation does not talk about any such visible swelling on the President's head, it would be safe to assume that the rupturing occurred on its own due to exactly what the report claims that the organ had been weakened.

It borders on pure malice that the family would let the enemies of the current President, Mahama, broadcast rumors around for so long that he had something to do with the death of President Mills because he benefitted from the demise of Mills by ascending to replace him.

President Mahama could have as well known the cause of Mills' death but might have restrained himself not to encroach on the privacy of the late President's and his family's to disclose it, even while, he, Mahama, was vilified as the villain who killed Mills.

Our folks must, please, learn to be honest, and prompt to show it. Keeping mute over hurtful rumors that we know are outright lies make us perpetrators of the same vicious rumors, too. We should not withhold the truth for the purpose of creating or deepening unwarranted defamatory suspicions around another we may not necessarily like, privately or Publicly.

Our Politicking is full of baseless rumors that damage the good reputation of many otherwise productive Citizens. Such is what contributes to the extreme hatred that many bring to bear on their Political opponents. It jeopardizes any future need for reconciliation and consensus building for the Nation's ultimate good.

Maybe the Government could have explicitly sought for permission of the Mills' Family to pour out the details to forestall Public anxiety, whether or not it was legally appropriate to have reveal it all without prior consultation with the Family. Would the Family have given the consent, though, given the prevailing circumstances? It seemed like the late President didn't like to reveal much of his health, right up to the time of passing. You remember his brief exhibition of (possibly, contrived) athleticism on the tarmac when he returned from abroad, ostensibly for Medical Exams?

I am not sure what we have on our Privacy rights in the Constitution to conclude how such a detailed Medical report ought to have been released. Could anyone help me understand?

Do our Presidents and similar high-level Government or Public Officials forfeit so much of their Privacy that their Medical Reports could be arbitrarily made public by the Government?

Earlier it was reported that after the massive stroke, the President raised his hands and said something to the effect that he has dedicated his soul to God.

Secondly, it was reported that President Mills has earlier succumbed to cancer.

Thr day the President died, it was reported early in the morning that the President was to travel to Nigeria that morning for an important business meeting. It was later revealed that his impromptu journey to Nigeria was not a business meeting but rather the President has become sick earlier in the morning and was being rushed to T.B Joshua church in Nigeria to seek spiritual healing.

However, you may need to learn a little more humility in recognizing and espousing the truth. Check what was reported in the Article as I reproduce below:

The only difference in my submission and the above information regarding what could have ruptured is how I used the term 'organ' instead of 'vessel' in the extract above. But I did so to make a general point. So, you can puff and huff all you want. I leave the readers with better judgments and no pent-up grudges against me to make their own assessment.

From what Cadman Mills told Fiifi Banson, "they later found out that it was hemorrhagic stroke", which presupposes was the reported medical cause of death.
From what Ghanaians have been told, his death happened after just a few hours after he was sent to the "maternity ward" of 37 military hospital.
Depending on the nature and severity of the occurrence, the patient has about 48 hours within which excellent medical treatment should be initiated to ensure survival rates, after which time, the prognosis is fatal, which is to say, chances of survival is much improved upon prompt initiation of treatment.
So Ghanaians want to know, when did the late Atta Mills fall and when did he start bleeding, and where was he when he fell, and started bleeding and who was and wasn't there?
Something is not right about how the Late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills passed away and it needs to be critically examined. Granted he might have had some of the predisposing factors, maybe old age, HPT, maybe medications, the very circumstances surrounding his demise is all but murky and it needs to be investigated thoroughly because, there are more questions than answers and something is definitely not right.
