I am baffled to see this man lambasting government day and night and provide no sound alternative than always making shallow negative propaganda in the pulpit.
Can professor martey tell Ghanaians that he knows God better because he is a professor or because he is the moderator of the Presbyterian Church? It is sickening that the energy that he can usedto propagate right course is directed toward negativity and periphery comments.
Your actions do not depict Christ you acting on your own. Your emotion and alliance to Nana Addo and his father is what has influence you to use the pulpit to campaign. Can you answer the following questions to refute my views about you now?
Professor Martey, can you be sincere before the almighty God and the people that you shepherd that you have not been clouded by your political preference?
What has the current government done that you think is very worse than what Kuffour did in government. Where were you when Ghana became the hub of Cocaine? Where were you when Kick-backs term became prominent in Kuffour`s era?
What is ethical and acceptable to God and humankind is selfless service. It is not self acclaimed authority neither is it past fame bequeathed to you by your forefathers nor numerous degrees. What is demanded of you is to demonstrate selfless attitude by exercising honesty and integrity.

See! This is the lack of educatiuon we are talking about,First of all i never said we need to understand why people become gay,i said we need to understand why people ARE Gay,,,,,,,all you think about is REproduction, straight people, people who are not gay would always be more than people who are gay,you dont choose to be gay,you and me cant choose to be gay,,,,,,,if you love woman, nothing can change that, get out of your village and broaden your mind,,,few people may be introduced to gay sex at early age by some rich gay men but majority are born gay,This happens even among straight people, with gay people this happens because people frown on it Gay people tend to hide their sexuality,,,,,,,if the acceptance is there, then Gay people would have somewhere to go,away from straight people and do their own thing, just like it is in the uk,Im sure they wont be involved in this Man,Boy relationship we keep hearing about,,,,,,,,people like you always carrying the bible but forget the bible never said to judge or to kill,,,,,so i ask all this christians without a sin a question,,,,,,,,,with the growing population of Gay people, what would you suggest to be done to them, first of all,not all of us Ghanaians are chistians, thats what freedom of worship in the constituition is all about,,,,,,so what is your democratic solution, yet still, what is your christian solution,,,,,,,,Judge all gays by ourselves and sentence them to death and kill them all?bet God would pat our shoulder and say, well done son,,,,,you are not different from Boko Haram in Nigeria, people who are not like you, people who dont take the same views as you, lets kill them, even if what they are doing doesnt affect us in any way,,,,,im a Ghanaian and i understand why Ghanaians are horrified at the thought of accepting Gays but trust me its either that or uneccessary killing and persecution of people whose only crime was to be born different,,,,,,only a fool or a short sighted person would think that would solve the problem LONG TERM.

There is no God, to some of us, who decreed marriage, it is the people who decide and as they decide there could be divisions as there are divisions, we must learn to tolerate each other by letting each charter the path they think good for themselves.

Why are Ghanains so incensed by this Gay issue. Ghanana is a sovereign nation and can't be dictated to enact laws by a foreign country. It took decades of debate nd research for the US Supreme Court to vote for the acceptance of gay marriage, albeit by a narrow margin. USA cannot dictate to China, Russia, Saudi Arabia to also enact this law in their respective countries although they are trade buddies. I dont understand why Ghana is so worked up by this gay marriage debacle. Is it because of our insecurity evolving out of our inferiority complex?

I find the pressure from various "religious"fronts on this issue interesting to say the least.
When the "church" has reduced the power in the Word of God to prophecy, deliverance and casting off of demons, she is now worrying about gays.
The church should worry about how to keep the faithfuls lest they also fall into the same trap.
Until the church begins to preach and teach the power in the Word of God, the very same power of and in the Spirit who in the beginning calmed darkness and called light therefrom, and stop teaching and preaching God as a set of morals, change shall be illusive.
God is Power and it is Only that Power that can direct what man should and/or should not do.Be Blessed

Martey should read what Christianity is all about from the Nobel laureate Desmond Tutu:
He said: '“We are made for goodness. We are made for love. We are made for friendliness. We are made for togetherness. We are made for all of the beautiful things that you and I know. We are made to tell the world that there are no outsiders. All are welcome: black, white, red, yellow, rich, poor, educated, not educated, male, female, gay, straight, all, all, all. We all belong to this family, this human family, God's family.”
Martey please stop your hate speeches and division between us. You are an embarrassment to Christians in Ghana.

besides his moronic utterances, he should describe Ghana as a religious country rather than narrowing the description down to Christianity.
Yes u are right. Why the moderator did not ask oppositions who are leading domsor demotration also to declear thier stand no MP talking about homosexual gayism why Akufo Addo also must declear before the president
Are gays not human beings, and God's creation, Mr Moderator?. Or perhaps you are Gay and you seeking consent, from the President.
