You go to work with your lazy asses at 9am and 12 pm you're done, running away from the job to engage in your own personal agenda and yet expect the government to subsidize your foolishness? What a shallow minded punk reasoning like a kejetia palm wine tapper.

What you're saying sounds great on paper,.dats it. Instead of chanelling the monies into free education and socialized healthcare care, and pensions. They will siphoned the monies out into private bank accounts and have the nerve to tell ananses3m to Ghanaian taxpayers. The only difference between western and Ghanaian politicians is this: Ghanaian politicians are not to be trusted and highly corrupt!

In fact, balancing the books for IMF purposes have always been detrimental for societies who pursue the Bretton Woods institutions' policies because those countries eventually remain the same or worsen up. What is making Ghana poor and borrowing has no solution from IMF I can say. It simply corruption and lack of vision, commitment, character, etc needed for change to better living. These issues IMF's economics don't arrest because if we tighten our belts whiles corruption still cuts the belts what happens? So if IMF can help with significant corruption reduction alone Ghana wouldn't need their bailouts.

Yes,we don't need to give school uniforms to students which doesn't even get to the right people but utility bills with even the so called subsidies are already high.
He claims "those who can afford",it seems he doesn't know that most Ghanaians cannot afford the utility bills and he forgets that the high fuel price affects all Ghanaians rich or poor.
There are many villages in the country that do not benefit from all their so called social programs but yet they want to keep it.
For example, there is a school in Tema Community 4 that benefits from this so called School Feeding Program ignoring the villages that need that program more than students in Tema.
In addition to that they don't even consider the health of the students in the program, the only food they give the student is rice meal with very little empty stew.
For me,students don't need that program.

Mr. Minister, I want you to understand that the conditions of IMF bail out is an advance developed countries way of financial accumulation for a state. What best suit developing countries is to develop many export opportunities to export more than import and promote the use of local products. As long as export capacity is low, we should not expect relieve of the state of the economy. Build the nation's export capacity to reduce inflation to a single digit.
