BECE leaks because parents want their children to attend only a few of the over 600 secondary (high) schools in the country such as PRESEC-LEGON, Wesley Girls, Achimota, Abuakwa State College, Aburi Girls, St. Roses and Tema Secondary making entrance to these few schools most competitive. They also believe that some schools cheat so they have to do something to level the playing field. Schools and parents contribute money to solve this problem compromising exams security.

BAWUMIA WARNED NDC OF FINANCIAL INDISCIPLINE SEVERAL TIMES, THAT IF MAHAMA DOESN'T HEED HIS CALL WE WILL END UP PUTING OUR HANDS IN IMF'S MOUTH. THE PROBLEM IS, HOW CAN NDC NDWANFUN LISTEN. A DEAD GOAT CANT HEAR. WHEN THE GOING BECAME TOUGH , NDC WENT TO SENCHI AND WITH THE ADVISE FROM THE LIKES OF AKUA DONKOR, HASSAN AYARIGA, ANITA DE SOSO, BRAINWORK MAN ASIEDU NKETIAH AND OTHERS, NDC TOOK DECISION TO GO TO IMF FOR A PALTRY SUM OF ABOUT $950 MILLION, AFTER BLOWING WELL OVER $27 BILLION WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. NOW, IMF HAS BITTEN US, WE ARE FEELING THE PAIN AND YOU TELLING US EVERYTHING IS OK. I DON'T BLAME TEKPER AND CORRUPT, INEPT NDC!! I BLAME FOOLISH GHANAIAN VOTERS. WHEN PEOPLE WOKE UP AND QUEUED FROM AS EARLY AS 4AM TO CAST THEIR VOTES, I THOUGHT THEY WANTED TO REMOVE THE NDC GREEDY CORRUPT, INEPT BASTARDS FROM POWER, BUT THEY VOTED OTHERWISE. ENJOY THE BEAT, ALL GHANAIANS.

Mr. Mahama and the NDC are not interested in priorities that would ease the suffering of Ghanaians; they are interested in prestigious signature projects for the enjoyment of few ruling elites in order to deceive gullible voters, regardless of whether the inflated projects are priorities and value for money or not. Does the NDC government think, despite the massive corruption, they can borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016, when the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallowing in hunger and over taxed?
Governance under the NDC government is about deceit and 'opium of the people'; they enjoy everything here on earth but ask us to wait for our basic needs in heaven. And as they ask us to tighten our belts for future betterment, they've already loosened theirs for immediate consumption. They didn't even respect our intelligence when they asked us to wait for a paradise in three more years. The truth is that, everything they promise is a mirage and we will never find comfort under them because; they are con-men with con plans.

Terkper would do us a favor by just shutting up until he and the entire NDC government are booted out! This NDC administration is a total failure.

NDC headed by "dead goat" Mahama must understand that they are bad managers. They have failed woefully and for that matter Ghanaians are not expecting anything from them. Failed, Failed, Failed NDC.

We are fed up with your terkpernomics that make sense only to the ears but nothing to show for on the ground. This is the only finance minister I have never heard talk of adding value to raw materials, industrializing, improving agric or having import substitution industries but always talking of balancing budget through taxes, complaining of falling commodity prices and volatilities. But is it surprising? If you make a UCC accounting product and not an economists with solid background from places like Legon a finance minister what do you expect? Economist think of productivity and the performance of all sectors of the economy but accountants think of balancing the books even if that means sacrificing productivity and that is what terkper of UCC fame is doing. Thunder, that was a thunderous blunder and absolute manifestation of crass ignorance by you. The pure economic nuances and appropriate policies to stimulate growth and productivity have been decoupled from the Ministry of Finance to the NDPC. As a consequence we now have the Ministry of Finance and no more Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning. So please don't attack Terkper and for that UCC quality products.

Mr Terkper must tell us the kind of economy he is managing. In the 1st Republic,Kwame Nkrumah took over from colonial economy where the govt was not active player in the economy but private companies.Kwame Nkrumah tried to restructure the economy by involving the state actively in all sectors of the economy. The state owned lot of enterprises and employed millions of people.Yet the traditional sector was left in the private hands, cocoa, timber, gold, bauxite, diamond and mangenese. In other words, govt does not produce any of these items and the prices are also determined by the world market. In the nutshell, our traditional export is at the mercy of external forces. When we came to the 2nd Republic,no structure was put in place just like the 3rd Republic.
The major economic structural changes happened during the PNDC era, when most of the State Owned Enterprises were sold out. This time around, unlike the colonial days where private companies were manage by multinationals with huge capital;we did not see any positive impact. Then we entered into the 4th Republic, the restructuring continued, shifting total from the mix economy,state-private to totally private driven economy.Today,we must examine the impact of private driven economy.Do the private enterpreneurs have the financial muscles to move the economic forward? Finally, what can the private sector do to improve the economy?Thank you.

Folks, let us be very clear in our minds that, until this Mahama NDC gov't is totally and massively fired at the ballot box in 2016, Ghana is going absolutely nowhere. It is not rocket science, the Mahama NDC gov't lacks the ability and the capacity to govern and develop this country and that is the straight in your face hard, bare, honest fact, take it or leave it.

I am of the opinion and suggest that fiscal policies alone are not enough for a strong economy. Ghana, if we are to navigate the vicious circle of perennial run away inflation and distortions in the economy, we must drastically reduce over dependence of foreign importation of goods and services that can be produced in Ghana.
Flooding a weak productive economy with borrowed dollars is not the way of salvaging the economy. We must set achievable productive targets and reduce importation of foreign consumables.
