The one question neither COCOBOD nor the government has answered so far: was the truly exported quantity enough to pay back the loan in full or are there further payments owed either in cash or in product that have to come out of next season's harvest.
It is kind of alarming that not even an official request from an MP can get us that answer which has a vital importance for Ghana's short term economic prospects. Watching that communication mess one can only expect the worst while Mr. Terkper is already talking about a new Cocoa loan of 1.5 billion USD.
