  Imani Gh must accept that NO country in this wotld can totally eradicate poverty. That is why social interventions exist to help the most vunerable in society The way to go is make sure the target group benefit.

  The LEAP program needs to be opened up for greater scrutiny and the needed measures adopted to make it accountable, effective, and truly empower the most vulnerable to bridge the poverty gap in a sustainable, pragmatic and focused manner, that achieves the needed and required socio-economic results in a holistic manner.
  As it stands, the LEAP program is clearly an avenue for taxpayer funds to be recklessly abused for personal gain, and it needs to be brought into conformity with accountability measures, transparency and effectiveness, situating it within the definition of LEAP, which is a social cash transfer program which provides cash and health insurance to extremely poor households across Ghana to alleviate short-term poverty and encourage long term human capital development.
  It is an objective whose time is long overdue.
