The reason for our poor performance in sports can be attributed mainly to our poor and ailing economy over the past two decades and even more. Many will disagree with this assertion but it is the fact. When we have a good economy it will transcend to all areas of our society these are sports, health, education, tourism, security, production among industries etc. The sacking of Herbert Addo is just a manifestation of our economy. How many coaches hasn't Hearts of Oak not changed in the past 5 years. Coaches are not the only problems but a minute fraction of a bigger problem beyond their ability

I don't think Accra Hearts of Oak abysmal performance is the issue of the coach I think it might be financial issues players are sometimes not payed and also the club doesn't have quality players.
