    How much is the government giving to we the citizens outside the prison walls.i see prisoners buying weed where i stay.so i wonder the money is for food or weed.officers are not trying to reform prisoners but enhancing them.

    They don't pay for accommodation, electricity and water and they get 1.80 free everyday and they are complaining. Reduce it to .80pesewas a day.

    You are a wicked man! Remember a lot of these people in the prisons are there for foolish petty crimes! What can you buy food wise for 1:80???

    Half the prisoners can be rehabilitated in society. Chicken thieves and most first time offenders can either have suspended sentences or community service to reduce the numbers so that the daily allowance can be increased. On ...

    Thank you for this. So many real criminals are running around free!!! The poor men and women are suffering. Bring in community service - let them clean the street etc and give them something for it!
