If they talk of politicians who have murdered and destroyed in the quit to have stranglehold onto political power,nobody matches Alban Bagbin,Majority Leader in Ghana's parliament.His stranglehold onto the Nadowli seat for the past 23 years have been characterized by unimaginable brutalities and diabolism against the people of upper west region.Alban Bagbin is excessively power drunk and a ruthless tyrant who will stop at nothing to destroy and eliminate persons perceived as a threat to his political ambition and interest.Many people including the late Dr.Banka who had serious problems with Alban Bagbin died mysteriously.He engineered the dismissal of another young practitioner from the upper west region in 2012 when he was the Health Minister because of his interest in Sissala East where the doctor hails from.He connived with the hierarchy of Ghana Health Service to victimize the doctor who was falsely implicated with a mental illness because he opposed illegal acquisition of vast areas of his family lands used by Bagbin for mango and maize plantation.Letters signed by the DG,GHS,Appiah Denkyira were copied to Alban Bagbin as Health Minister before and after the doctor's illegal dismissal through an indefinite suspension to assure him his orders have been carried out.The other reason was because the doctor was thought to be opposed to the Sissala East MP Alijata in the NDC Primaries,whom Bagbin backed and helped into parliament for his selfish interest.The doctor suffered two assassination attempts prompting him to write to the IGP for police inquiry into his case when he suit the Ghana Health Service.He was also forced to make another report at cantonment police station when a voice threatened to deal mercilessly with him if he does not stop soiling the majority leader's name through a phone call.It was the same Alban Bagbin who orchestrated Dr Banka's sacking from the Ghana Health Service because of his differences with him.Dr Banka subsequently died mysteriously amid frustration in private practice.This other young doctor jobless for 3 years now with his life under threat is the second victim of Alban Bagbin diabolism under the cover of darkness.Alban Bagbin is one of the most callous and heartless politician ready to destroy and murder to have expansive political powers.Avid greed,self centredness,power drunkenness and self aggrandizement on the part of Bagbin make it difficult for him to understand that politics is about development and everybody has a stake in it because it directly affects our lives as citizens.He is one of the most intolerable and autocratic politician who believe in force imposition rather than dialogue as far as it will satisfy his personal interest to the detriment of majority.This is the Majority Leader of Ghana's parliament supposed to be a beacon of democracy and political tolerance.
